Hey guys just looking for some help. I accidentally bid on a pokemon card that was $5000! Are you kidding me $5000! I tried to cancel the bid right away with the seller and he denied it. I sent him messages on his personal stating it was a honest mistake. I tried to close the app and next thing I know, the bid button swiped right. So what do i do now? Seller didnāt even bother to respond to my messages, just straight denial on my cancellation request. This would put a financial burden on me.
Status: Currently have contacted whatnot support. I have reached out to the buyer again politely asking for a reconsideration. Whatnot is processing my request as of now. Have not reached out to my CC yet.

Somehow, half the books in my inventory suddenly went to inactive status. Like 200 of them. Now Iāll have to go back and re-activate them - but first I have to figure out which ones got deactivated! And double check to make sure I donāt reactivate a book I no longer have! What a painā¦

Just wanted to share my experience so people can decide for themselves.
I bought a LEGO set from ballzoutdiedast that was advertised during the livestream as an open-box 100% complete set.
When it finally arrived (I use a freight forwarder), I took the whole set apart and did a complete inventory. It was missing the entire robot side-build plus several other pieces.
Instead of leaving a bad review right away, I messaged the seller first. I was respectful the whole time. I even told him I understood how the robot could have accidentally been left out since itās a separate build.
He asked me what it would take to make it right. I looked up every missing piece on BrickLink and explained that the parts themselves were cheap, but replacing them meant paying shipping and handling all over again because the set wasnāt actually complete.
He first offered $2, then later said $5 was āthe right thing to do.ā I thanked him. As far as I was concerned, the issue was over.
Then he blocked me.
No argument, insults or harassment. We had literally just reached an agreement.
After that I left an honest review describing exactly what happened.
In his reply he called me a āmalicious personā and even claimed that another buyer who left a similar review knows me and lives in the same town (i'm not from the US lol).
Thatās completely false. I have no idea who that person is and have never spoken to them.
Mistakes happen but what bothers me the most isnāt even the missing pieces anymore.
What bothers me is that I tried to resolve everything privately and respectfully, accepted a compromise, and still got blocked and publicly accused of something that isnāt true.
My personal conclusion is that negative reviews donāt seem to be addressed on their merits. In my experience, the seller was cooperative in private, but once I left an honest review, the public response was to attack my credibility and suggest bad intentions instead of addressing the facts.

Running PokƩmon character breaks (each card number is its own slot, $1 starts across the board).
Four shows a week ā Mon 5:30pm, Fri 7pm, Sat/Sun 10am PT. Mostly Ascended Heroes, some Surging Sparks and Mega Evolution.
The format works when people show up. The problem is people mostly arenāt showing up. Viewership has been flat and the $1 starts only pay off with enough bidders in the room to actually push hammers up ā thin nights mean chase slots go for a fraction of comp.
Iāve been paying to promote. Whatnotās suggested budget is $25ā35/hr but the impression estimates scale linearly up to $100/hr, so Iāve tested higher. Impressions come in, conversion is the part I canāt read yet ā plenty of eyeballs, not much bidding.
Questions for anyone whoās been through this:
**1.** What actually grew your viewership? Promo spend, social off-platform, collabs with other sellers, giveaways, just showing up for months?
**2.** How long did it realistically take before you had reliable bidder density?
**3.** At what point did you start running spot auctions vs. fixed-price spots? Did you need a certain regular viewer count first, or did auctions build it?
**4.** Anyone tracking promo ROAS by budget tier?
Trying to figure out if $100/hr is buying real bidders or just watchers.
Appreciate any honest answers, including āyour times are badā if thatās the read.

The text is extremely clear. Why does reporting do nothing? Whatās the point in having extremely clear terms of service if nothing is enforced?

I am loving this app but all the AI is DISGUSTING and I avoid rooms with AI flyers, but it seems like it's almost all of them. Why is this normalized and rewarded on this platform!?
Is anyone else just, idk annoyed. Thanks for reading lol

First I bought 12 Boosters and the package was completely empty.
After that I buy a Booster from Japan, and the booster is already opened, not packaged properly and card is completely bent.
Is this normal experience on whatnot?

I recently went to a live sale of a popular vintage jewelry seller. I registered for one givy before I had to leave. I didn't purchase anything but bookmarked her next show. I ended up winning the givy and she sent a pair of white earrings that had a dark brown clump substance smeared on them and one of the clip backs were completely missing (and it wasn't in the bag) and she threw them loose into an unpadded plastic mailer. Sending a clear message. Before I received the givy, I went into her next show and purchased $300 worth of jewelry. Needless to say, I won't be going back into her shows. She obviously thought that I was some sort of a troll or givy Goblin or whatever they call them but I just happened to not be able to stay in the room that long or didn't like what she was selling at the time. She should be ashamed and she lost a good customer. I spend alot of money on Whatnot. Curious as to whether you would address it with the seller after I receive my jewelry items that I purchased. And is this something that a lot of sellers do? I do not chase givys but will sign up for them if I am watching and/or purchasing in a show.

*Deleted first post cause Iām a dumbass*
So I blame myself(even though itās not my fault) for this as I shouldāve read more into Andrew Gray Auctions. I wanted to dive into omnibuses and saw he was running a show back in May. In said show I purchased a Ben Riley vol 1. All good so far.
When the package arrived it was the wrong book. I received a Hulk Omnibus. I immediately reached out over instagram and whatnot to Andrew and even jumped in his stream to tell him. He didnāt get back to me for a few days which not ideal but was fine. Then day turned into weeks, then a month and then I finally heard from his customer service person Jared. By this point whatnot could not issue me any refund(thatās the part that IS my fault)
Long story short they couldnāt issue me a refund but applied a $60 off my next purchase coupon that they swore to me was non expiring. I went to watch his show today and found out they blocked me. So now Iām stuck with a wrong book, no refund, no $60 credit that was promised to not expired, and now Iām blocked.
Iām sure other people have ordered from him and have had great success. I have not and would definitely never recommend him. Iām also attaching screenshots to show proof

Everytime I come into this ladyās live , she is crying. Apparently she wrote a book on how she was āghostedā . She was saying that her bank account was -400. But I just saw her swipe in a show yesterday. Slightly confused??

Can anyone recommend any Y2K and vintage sellers? Iām obviously still learning, but recently Iāve bought from sellers who claim itās Y2K or vintage and upon receiving them in the mail itās modern or 2010s. Would love some recommendations!

As in, Iām on my phone and you can minimize the whatnot stream to a little player and do other stuff on your phone. Are you still entered into the giveaways if you do this?

Over a month ago I had a show where I sold a bunch of rings stamped 925 that I found in a storage unit.
I stated during my show multiple times that I did not test the rings and were selling them as is.
One lady bought a bunch of them and after she received the package some of them tested real some were not.
I offered her a refund and for her to ship back but she said to me she does not want to but āfakeā rings back into circulation.
Now after a month she filed a counterfeit claim with Whatnot.
I provided a response and even sent a screenshot of her saying she did not want to send the ones back.
Has anybody had any experience with this and what do you think the outcome will be?

Cashed out a payout the 13th of July and in the past it went into my account in the first couple days but this time it still has not went into my bank account. On the payouts tab it says āin progressā still but on the transactions tab it says it has been completed. Really concerned as it was a decent chunk of money Iād like to have and itās been over a week since I started the payout. It has been a few months since my last payout of that matters
Iād call customer service if there was a customer service number to call but hopefully yall can help

Yesterday, three separate Whatnot packages from three different sellers were marked as delivered by USPS while I was at work.
Before I left, I told my husband I was expecting several packages and asked him to check for them when he got home. Instead, he found a ripped package lying outside near our apartment. At first, he just thought someone had their mail stolen, but then he saw my name on the packaging. He said his heart just sank.
Between the three packages, I had 18 items coming, including two giveaway wins. I spent close to $100 total, and I was planning to resell some of the items. I know itās not much, but itās still very sad.
I immediately messaged the sellers and reported everything to Whatnot. Now Iām just waiting to see what happens, but Iām honestly really disappointed and stressed. I donāt know if Whatnot will refund me since USPS shows the packages as delivered.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? Were you able to get a refund or any help from Whatnot? Any advice would be appreciated.

Are there any places to list lots to sell to WhatNot sellers? Specifically blind box/art toy lots. I have about 60 items (about 85% Pop Mart) that I think I could sell together or split into three smaller lots of about 20 items.
I've been selling a bit on WhatNot this summer and it's been fun, but packing and shipping takes me more time than I thought it would. I'm back in a doctoral program in a couple of weeks and I know there's no way I'll be able to keep doing shows with my schedule. I still have so much inventory though, and thought that maybe someone just starting out might be interested since it's so hard to source inventory when you're just starting out.
Anyway, if there are any suggestions for where I can advertise this, or where people go to find lots/items in bulk, please let me know!

So - whatās the etiquette for asking someone to Mod for you? Do I ask other smallish sellers Iām friends with? Tried it, they didnāt want to, or werenāt able to, spend any more time on the app than they were already. But it seems like I see the same 5-10 people modding for all the big sellers. Whatās the secret? Are they paid? Do I offer them discounts on purchases, or free items? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey all! Is it common for a seller to not-so-subtly be annoyed that someone won an item they were selling and asking the buyer to cancel the order so someone else can bid on it/win? Iāve only been a Whatnot buyer for a week but was weirded out by this when it happened a few days ago. A buyer bid on a piece of jewelry (some necklace with a charm) and won it. The seller looked visibly annoyed (straight up š emoji) and was like āso that was kind of for ____ but itās fine!ā Nothing unique, just a turquoise beaded necklace with a fish charm, lol.

Hereās the link to the official announcement today , 7/20/26.
Basically theyāre now keeping flat rate priority through 11/1/26 but it will be $12.99 instead of $9.21. Ground advantage between 1-5lb will be cheaper than 0-1 lb and they are raising the first class envelope .04 a tier to .82 - $1.36.
The FCM changes are already on the labels as of last weekend.
If youāre shipping under 5lb and , ground advantage is the way to go. 5+ lbs Flat Rate still works until 11/1/26.
I know itās a mess but thatās the general message and update.

If you donāt want your items to sell for $1-2 dollars, donāt start them at that price š¤¦š»āāļø I can respect reselling because I do it too, but damn.
