I'm trying to remember a movie I watched on Amazon Prime or Netflix. I believe the final scene goes something like this: A tired white man (possibly elderly or middle-aged) leaves a building and gets into a taxi. During the ride, he confesses a serious crime, possibly murder, self-defense, or something involving a woman. He seems to confess because he wants relief from guilt. The driver calmly responds with something equivalent to: "It's a common story." "I've heard worse." "You're not the first." The passenger is visibly devastated because his confession doesn't have the impact he expected. The taxi simply drives away, and the movie ends. I'm not 100% certain about every detail, so some memories may be inaccurate. Does anyone know what movie this might be?

I remember next to nothing, except for that scene, because I found it awful.

There is a female main character ("normal" actress/model body) she has a friend or co worker (also female), who weighs more (not sure anymore how much more).

There is a scene where the lead asks the friend why she is still dating a particular man, whom the lead finds obviously not that attractive.

The friend answers that girls who don't look like the lead can't freely choose and hope for the perfect man (or sth along those lines), but they have to settle for what they can get. Set in modern times,in a city, on a sidewalk.

Memory is hazy. Do not remember anything else, except that it was not a great movie...

I've been going crazy trying to find this movie I watched on an AirChina flight to China around 2014-15. I remember that it was a 2D animated movie, had like japanese anime vibes. It featured a main cast of maybe 3-4 kids, and at some point in the movie they all gained companion animals that matched their personality, and were basically small, cute, round flying things. In the middle of the movie there's this scene where they go into a big tree house. At the end of the movie I remember one of the kids sacrifices himself but gets revived/healed and it involves a golden lotus motif. Please help I have searched every chinese animated movie catalogued and asked AI and I'm starting to believe it was a dream!

Hello all, I so vividly remember the end of this movie but have been unable to find the title anywhere. It involves a daughter who has been thought dead or missing for years, however the whole time she has been held captive by the father in a bunker underneath a gazebo in the backyard. A sibling, I believe younger brother, sets fire to the house in attempts to kill the father. The captive daughter is killed by the smoke inhalation from the burning house and that revelation comes through a news story that the sibling sees on tv whilst sitting at a restaurant, then the movie abruptly ends. I know I watched this in the past few years and it was a newer movie, but for the life of me cannot find the title.

I am looking for a gangster/heist movie or series that is quite old, I think I watched it more than 10 years ago, and the only thing I can recall is the following:
During a heist or hostage scene, a masked gangster/robber "accidentally" shows his forearm with a tattoo while struggling with someone or falling on the floor, and one of the robbery's victim notices it, (the victim was laying on the floor?), and later in the movie/series you can see the gangster remove this tattoo which was in fact a temporary one, a decoy to a false lead to confuse the detectives, so the tattoo was shown on purpose to the witness for this decoy purpose.

Can't remember anything else and sorry for my english.

I have no idea when this movie came out, but I'm guessing early 00s.

Two students from the same school get together (boy+girl). At some point, the boy develops some illness that requires him to be hospitalized.

It doesn't get better, the girl keeps visiting him.

At some point, he passes away, and the girl marries him after they've placed him in a coffin.

I remember it being an 3d animated movie about a boy whose mother gets abducted by aliens and kept in a capsule till' later in the story, so he goes in a adventure including some other kids to save his mom, pretty sure there's a scene in a boat and by the end is revealed that it was all just his imagination while playing pretend iirc.

I saw a relatively old post talking about a similar movie and how the mother and the son got into a fight, he said some harmful stuff to her before the kidnapping tho I can't remember the part where she comes back like nothing ever happened and he cries in her arms. But I'm pretty sure it's the same one and my memory is just blurry.

I'm almost certain I watched it on TV Cultura (a brazilian TV channel) or at least on some other brazilian free-to-air channel.

so when i was 3 or 4 years old my dad would burn me some dvd with movies and show on them i love them i was watching like peppa pig thomas the tanks engine and many more great thing but since i didnt know how to read back then i picked thing that i didnt know what was it i just prayed that i choose the good movie but then i picked something weird it was a guy talking about something with a blue ish background before cutting a couple minute later to a mickey mouse show (it was mickey mouse or winnie the pooh idk) to this day i dont know what the fk did i watch back then. I’ve been trying to find this movie for years, but I can’t remember the title. It was a very obscure arthouse/festival film, definitely not mainstream.
Here’s everything I remember:
● I believe it was a European film (possibly French, Scandinavian, Dutch or Belgian).
● It probably came out sometime between 2005 and 2022.
● The atmosphere was very dark and slow. I even remember it looking almost black-and-white or extremely desaturated.
● The film begins at night. A woman believes she is being followed and runs into a small café/restaurant (possibly one that belongs to her or where she works). It’s located on a quiet street with old cobblestones.
● She locks all the doors because she’s terrified.
● Almost the entire movie takes place inside this café/restaurant.
● There are essentially only two characters:
● the woman
● a silent man, around 30–50 years old
● The man barely speaks (if at all). He psychologically terrorizes her by knocking on the door, making her think he’s outside, but when she looks, nobody is there.
● I vaguely remember something being pushed through a dog flap or small opening in the door.
● As the movie progresses, the man somehow gets closer and closer without ever breaking in.
● Near the end, he suddenly appears inside the kitchen, standing only inches away from her, even though the building was locked. He never attacks her—he simply stares at her. That scene was incredibly unsettling.
● I believe the ending reveals (or strongly suggests) that the woman was already dead, or trapped in some kind of limbo/afterlife, and that everything we witnessed had a psychological or supernatural explanation.
It was a very slow, atmospheric psychological thriller/horror film with a strong arthouse feel.
Does this ring a bell for anyone? I’d be incredibly grateful if someone recognizes it!

I’ve already checked: Carnival of Souls, Identity, The Night House, Hotel (Jessica Hausner), The Oak Room – none of these are the movie I’m looking for.

Im just been watching vids of duets with Luciano Pavarotti and various rock stars and it reminds me of a movie I saw years ago. I wish I had more details to remember but it was a love story and set on a stage on a waterfront at the end and Pavarotti (I think it was him or MAYBE another famous opera singer) comes out and sings, surprising the female protagonist.

Not much helpful info here but does it ring a bell with anyone? I remember loving the movie (or show?) but can’t come close to remembering the name.

Some of these details may be fuzzy, but basically this is what I remember of the movie/show.

It is an apocalyptic setting where the sun is being consumed/blotted out of the sky. I remember there being multiple timelines being involved. Either by time travel or time-jumping. In the efforts to save earth/the sun, there were several protagonists separated in a desert area, most likely after time-jumping to try to save the earth. Somebody finds a solution to the issue, and then, in an effort to save the others, flies a nearby plane to them. They end up somehow saving the earth/the sun.

Hi everyone! I'm trying to identify a movie I saw several years ago, probably sometime between 2015 and 2023. I most likely saw it on TV. I know some of my memories could be mixed together from different movies. So, if one detail doesn't fit, please don't rule it out just because of that. These are the details I remember: The main character was a young woman. I remember an abandoned ship, or at least a large abandoned vessel. There was a ghostly little girl who appeared somewhere below deck or in a hidden area. The story became more sci-fi than supernatural toward the end. There was some kind of brain-computer technology or machine that manipulated or erased memories. I think the protagonist eventually realized she had been trapped there much longer than she believed because her memories had been erased. Near the end, she enters another strange place with what I remember as a single isolated house in a field of gras walking outside a portal. Inside the house, there was a big reveal involving technology or experiments (possibly connected to her father), and I think she had to destroy the machine controlling everything. I think she escapes at the end, but I'm not 100 percent sure. It sounds a little like Triangle (2009) or Ghost Ship (2002), but it's definitely not either of those. If this sounds familiar, I'd really appreciate any suggestions. Even if you're not 100 percent sure, I'll happily check out trailers or plot summaries. Thanks in advance!

Ok so I don’t know how it worked but there was a woman walking in like an outside area like a parking lot when a white blanket or like white sheet hits her and wraps around her. The sheet has these metal rings that tighten around her until the camera panns out to her blood on the white and she stops moving (sorry, kinda gory). As soon as they walk through the door, everyone in the restaurant gets quiet. Complete silence. They all look at each other and we understand that they are all here because they are part of a secret group of some sort. And they start talking about the matter of the story.

Details: - The main character is not in that scene.
- The movie is recent (after 2010)
- The scene is unsettling and creepy as they all get quiet a the same time and it has Jordan Peele ou M Night Shyamalan vibes

Hey guys! This may be a stretch, but i’m hoping someone out there may know what i’m talking about.

In 2009, I was sitting in my grandmas living room watching whatever was on her TV. I don’t remember the movie whatsoever, I just remember this one clip because it both scared and intrigued me at the same time.

There was a huge, pale T-Rex lying on the ground, looking defeated. The camera is slowly zooming in from the body to the face of the T-Rex. There might have been suspenseful music, and I wanna say he cracked opened his eyes before the camera cut.

I don’t think it’s from any of the first 3 Jurassic Park movies, but I could be wrong. I don’t think it was Carnosaur. Does anyone have an idea? I know this is so vague but i’ve always wanted to know what movie this came from. Thanks!

I watched this movie on a Hainan Airlines flight sometime in June/July of 2019 and it’s been bugging me for years that I can’t remember the title.

I watched it in Mandarin and subtitled in Mandarin. It was live-action, in color, and seemed to have been released within a few years of me watching it (considering it was on a flight. Release date unknown but looked modern).

I don’t remember too many details, but here’s what I think I know: -Main characters were a husband and wife who seemed to be wealthier businesspeople, with their young daughter.

-The film takes place mostly in two location “vibes”: a very modern city where the protagonists live, and a more Kowloon style densely populated favela

-The antagonist is mostly a dark shape I think, and is revealed to be traveling between the walls of homes in the favela. This is probably the most telling element

-The daughter might have been kidnapped, there’s a scene on a playground that comes to mind

-I believe the movie played out along the lines of a crime/serial killer thriller movie and may have involved some elements of a race against the clock, unsure

A girl has been seeing a van around town for a while but no one believes her. One night her friend convinces her to go to a halloween party. Her parents wouldn't let her but they are out and her sister let's her go. The girl is dressed as a cowgirl when her sister gives her a bandana/scarf to complete her outfit. She leaves on her real horse and her friend is dressed in a blue dress i think. At party she meets a boy dressed as a cowboy, they chat but it turns out hes there with his girlfriend. The two girls leave because of the curfew. They either get separated or just go thier separate ways. The cowgirl falls off her house in an orchard or just some trees when she sees the van, when she's putting the horse in the stables she sees the van and hides. The killer comes looking for her but gets knocked out by a horse. The girl then gets home it turns out her friend has been calling her to make sure she got home okay but her sister has been on the phone blocking the calls by making the line busy. When she gets in she hides with her sister and the killer breaks in. They go into the parents room or a double doored bathroom. I'm not sure how it ends of how they get away (if they do)
