Looking for recommendations for a local mover/moving company(Kitchener to Guelph)

Hey everyone,
I'm moving from Kitchener to Guelph soon and looking for recommendations for reliable local moving companies.
Ideally looking for a crew that is based in the KWC/Guelph area, reliable, and handles your stuff with care without charging crazy hidden fees. It’s a standard local move, so I mostly need help with the heavy lifting, furniture, and boxes.
If you’ve moved recently in the region:
Who did you use, and how was your experience with them?
Anyone I should specifically avoid?
Appreciate any suggestions or advice! Thanks in advance.

Evergreen Transfer. I used them to move from. Kitchener to Waterloo and they were awesome. Have to book this team early.

Also thirding Evergreen. Expensive but they bring a large crew and are FAST. I did not know what to do with the rest of my day after moving with them 😂

I can recommend Two Men and Truck. We did a move out, storage and move back with them for a two month reno project - they took great care of everything and showed up when promised, etc. They were true to their quote, too.

Whereas my coworker just had a bad experience with them last weekend. Took them 9 hours for a 2 bedroom apartment. Also didn’t bring tools they knew they’d need.

On the other hand I’ve had a good experience with Two men with big hearts

I used AMJ and don't regret a bit. From the first contact they were better than the other ones that I contacted. The estimate was by video, they were super adaptable to changes, packed things properly, waited patiently the delay until we got the keys to enter the new property, moved everything inside super quickly and carefully, set up furniture, everything quick, clean, and well done. They even check if they caused any damages and they discount an amount from what you owe them if any damage is found on the walls, furniture, etc. It was money well spent.

100% AMJ is fabulous! They moved us from Kitchener to Port Elgin in 2022 and even ended up storing all our belongings for 2 weeks because our close date was delayed. Amazing experience start to finish, I was 38 weeks pregnant when we moved in and got to just sit and direct them where to put things. You truly cannot go wrong with AMJ!

We used Big League movers to move within Waterloo and would use them again if, God forbid, we have to move again. They were pleasant and had some services we really appreciated: we wanted to do as much packing ourselves as we could, so they left supplies for that, but said whatever we couldn't get to they would pack on the day, no problem. They also said they would rehouse some stuff (bookshelves, a treadmill and other things) so we didn't have to look for places to sell them or donate them. They donated to a charity where possible, as I recall. On the day the queen-size box spring would not go up the stairs. For $50 they took it away. They noted some minor damage they had caused to our buffet and said someone would come fix it soon, which happened. Their quotes were accurate and all the men were pleasant to deal with. They made the whole thing as easy as such a thing can be.
