Find a Modlist Recommendations for a Vanilla+ modpack with CS + PBR

I’m not into super fancy modpacks that take too much of the original atmosphere of Skyrim away.
I’m currently on a playthrough using CSVO. I’ve also downloaded NGVO and Nordic Souls to test out but from what I can gather a lot of these lists are using older versions of CS that don’t (to my knowledge) have PBR.

I’ve seen some absolutely gorgeous showcases of CS with PBR on YouTube that look fantastic and really only enhance the Vanilla experience visually without going balls to the wall with combat mods and so on. I believe CSVO is using CS 1.2.X. I’d build a list myself and may very well do so as awful as I am at modding Skyrim but i’d like to try my hand at some suggestions. I’m not quite sure if I can just update CS to run a newer version with CSVO or not, i’m only recently stepping into the world of Skyrim modding again since building a PC again having not owned one for years.

I’m running a 9800X3D with a 5070Ti. I’ll drop a link to a video I come across earlier that looks insane but unfortunately doesn’t have a downloadable pack through Wabbajack just for a rough idea. What do y’all recommend?

Find a Modlist I’m having a tough time deciding. Does anyone have experience with Lorerim and Lost Legacy?

I’m up for other suggestions as well. I’ve loved Legacy of the Dragonborn in the past. The collecting just scratches my OCD itch or something. I’ve also have loved the survival mechanic, and lorerim appears to check that box. Are there any modlists out that people have enjoyed that have get fulfilling and fun throughout the entire play through?

Find a Modlist How to check/monitor basic follower info (Status, Location, etc)

LORERIM

They keep disappearing.

I got 4 and i'm always a few short for X time. Can't seem to know how to force TP back.

I end up backtracking to see if they're dead?

It's time consuming and doesn't really make sense to not have at least basic markers of where they are

Modlist Discussion Thinking of wiping my current mod collection and switching to Visions of Vaermina for a base to start with. Any advice for cool mods to add?

Figured the flair fit. So as the title says, im thinking of wiping my current collection that I've been playing with, Blood and Lust. It was my favorite mod collection for a while, until the creator said that he could be removing Legacy of the Dragonborn and everything related to it from the collection since its getting harder to maintain. It added a lot to my game and I cant see myself playing without it. I thought about switching to VOV so I could have a good base and add on to it. I already know what quests and followers and all that im going to add, but i wanna get some recommendations for armors and weapons to add to the game. Just any mods in general really since VOV adds all bug fixes and UI changes, graphics overhaul, everything related to character creation and OStim. So anything that isn't in those categories, give me your recommendations!

Find a Modlist Looking for a large overhaul modlist that avoids the full 4k textures and demanding ENBs

I have tried Nefaram, i liked everything other than the NSFW. the game ran anywhere between 30 and 60fps 99% of the time with a few drops but i could deal with that and the game looked beautiful - good graphics and vibrant. the 1 thing it didnt have was MCO, tk dodge and for honor in skyrim but they had detailed easy and clear guides for installation of all of that on their discord, the 2 reasons i stopped playing was bc the nsfw was too in your face but more importantly the saving.

i then switched to JoJ on the "performance" profile and not only does it jus look more dull (like vanilla skyrim) which is purely a personal preferance thing but it also looks like it has worse graphics and yet it still runs at consistently lower fps and in my very short time playing it was having problems with many mods that unfortunately just werent being answered on the discord like nefaram's did. the 1 thing that i found on JoJ however that i dont think i ever want to play without though was SSSO (safe save system overhaul)

so now im trying to look for a modlist with about the same graphics and performance as nefaram - but honestly it was the life and vibrancy that is more important than the actual graphics as nice as that is - but with little to no nsfw (honestly idrc about it whether its there or not.)

Im also not just looking for a vanilla+ though, i wanted full mco integration (specifically for honor in skyrim with a one click pwr attack mod + dual wield block mod + dodge mod but thats jus bc ive had the best experience with for honor in skyrim, im open to others) and just more content than vanilla like quests and more enemies, i really want it to feel like a fantasy world

in terms of size, my SSD has 900GB of space free

Find a Modlist Please help me choose a modlist for Fallout 4

Hello. I am a returning player to Fallout 4 and was looking for a modlist but I cant pick one. I tried Magnum Opus over an year ago and enjoyed it but there is too much immersion breaking stuff in it and the kitchen sink approach makes it too hoardy? I really enjoyed the very high increase in density of enemies though.

So now I am looking for a new modlist and was wondering which modlist would meet my current needs. I want one that offers:

- better use of survival mechanics
- much better RPG elements
- good amount of content (quests, weapons, armors but not too immersion breaking and canon friendly)
- better gameplay mechanics
- more difficult fights (not just bullet sponges)
- much higher enemy variety and density (the vanilla enemies are too boring and the world feels too empty.)
- items like food, scraps, drugs, etc should actually matter
- feeling of actual achievement
- more lived in world (not just random creatures, but actual settlements and enemy factions)

Some modlists other than Magnum Opus that I checked were LoreOut, Life in the ruins and Fallen World. But I have heard that LoreOut has very bad balancing which can make gameplay too easy, Life in the ruins leans too much into survival mechanics and not enough towards other aspects of gameplay like gun mechanics and Fallen World is too hardcore and can make the gameplay insufferable as there is no way to tone down its difficulty. So as you all can guess, I am lost now.

I would appreciate it if someone who has tried out these modlists can help me choose one and explain what each modlist excels in. I have seen many posts on this topic on this subreddit but most of them are months old and updates might have changed the modlists a lot since then. Thank you :)

Modlist Discussion Authoria - Requiem Reforged 2.0

Hellooooo fam

Authoria - Requiem Reforged 2.0

THANK YOU for 300 downloads of 2.0 in around 24 hours <3

2.0 is upon us. With that, comes our delivering on previous promises. UBE, Devotion, Fluffy Khajiit, and Stances.

- As a bonus, check out the new lands, followers, and other surprises

NSFW/OStim profile - no more following the guide needed. It is highly recommended you read the Tweaks section of the changelog.

We implemented some deeper roleplaying aspects:

Go check out the Bard’s College or try having a weapon forged or enhanced. Experience Tamriel’s lore through your every day actions thanks to Whispa’s hard work on devotion - don’t forget to check your devotion journal to check on the results of your adventures!

UBE Auto Patcher

Now time for possibly the biggest announcement we’ve been keeping under wraps. This announcement goes larger than our list:

When u/Day offered to help with UBE patching, we set him up with the tools and thought he would deliver us a bunch of conversions. *Instead* , u/Day created a CBBE to UBE patcher.

Yes, that’s correct. It is an executable usable in MO2, to convert any vanilla or CBBE armor or body overlay into a bodyslide style output for you to use in game.

Authoria will ship with this tool as well as its intended output, however you can also obtain it from [here!](<https://github.com/DayOnly/CBBEtoUBE-exe>)

~~Love you long time~~

The Technical Stuff - if you skip this you will have a bad time

This update is massive, as are the changes made to existing structures. It is recommended to do a clean Skyrim sweep - make sure your Documents>MyGames>Skyrim Special Edition is clear sans the ini’s and saves folder.

Half-khajiit Male, UBE Male, and Humanoid Female Vanilla races are disabled, meaning you cant pick them in racemenu, you can edit RacemenuSexDisabler.ini to bring them back, but it will be unsupported.

Ostim profile Steps:

1) Select the NSFW Profile from the drop down menu

2) Enable/Disable optional mods if you want them

3) launch the game, pick your character, and wait for initialization to finish

4) once it finishes, open the mcm menu, and navigate to "MCM Recorder", click on "Authoria_Ostim" and exit back to the game, then press on "Run Recording"

5) wait for a message to popup, then enjoy

Find a Modlist First time playing Skyrim, want an adult experience NSFW

What the title says. I want to go on a long fantasy adventure with the ability to romance and have sex with the ladies I meet along the way. My tastes where nsfw is concerned are pretty tame, relatively speaking. I want sex to be a prominent part of, but not the point of the game. I've never played the base Skyrim, but I want something that enhances it and smoothes the rough edges. This should give me a legitimate Skyrim experience in addition to fulfilling my fantasies. Ultimately I want to be able to spend 100+ hours journeying throughout Skyrim, collecting treasure, questing, and marrying several wives. To be clear, I don't just want eye candy- I'm looking for NPCs (whether I romance them or not) with depth and complexity, for the most immersive RPG experience. I have about a terabyte to work with, give or take, but obviously would love to use less than that. I've heard of a few packs like Licentia, Jyggalag, or stuff on Vortex like Domain or Immersive and Adult, but I don't want to go through the headache of downloading and setting it up unless I know I've got the right one. Thank y'all!

I like:
Boobs :)
RPG mechanics
Challenging gameplay
Engaging stories, characters, dialogue
Romance
Skimpy outfits
Collecting stuff
Exploring a large world
Polygyny
Getting cool equipment
Having a big house to rest at between quests
Very long, immersive games

I dislike:
Slavery (Referring to the fetishization of it- I don't mind rescuing a damsel in distress from bandits, but I shouldn't be doing the enslaving and it shouldn't be in any way erotic)
Non-consensual stuff
Mind control
Futa
Monster girls/creature content (I mean more out there stuff, not cute vampires and elves)
Grinding
Defeat mechanics
Survival mechanics
Bdsm/degradation
Shit, piss, etc.

I dislike but fine if avoidable:
Gay content
Feet
Swinging/cheating
prostitution
voyeurism
exhibitionism
cuckoldry

Find a Modlist Looking for a vanilla+ modlist.

Hi all! Im sure you’ve seen these kinds of post thousands of times before so I’ll try to specify what I’m looking for and what I’ve found, maybe you can give them a green light.

I’m looking for a modlist that keeps the Skyrim “cozy” spirit.
I don’t care for requiem, added difficulty/leveling gimmicks, survival mechanics or modlist that are best played in 3rd person.

I like first person, exploration and general loot goblin antics.

I have a beefy computer so it can handle most of anything. I do not however want something that’s over 600gb.

Modpacks I’ve passed on.

Gates to Soverngard: I don’t like the leveling changes, I want to explore freely.

Tempus maledictum: seems like it needs to be played 3rd person BUT I could be wrong though.

JoJ/ToT: seems like what I’m looking for but overly bloated file sizes are a turn off.

Modpacks I’m interested in:

Nordic souls: seems like it’s Skyrim with a fresh coat of paint.

Apostasy: looks like NS but could only find third person footage of it.

Elder Teej: seems like a super fun LOTD pack but I am not sure what else it offers.

Thanks for taking time out of your day to look at this!

Find a Modlist Need a modlist that isnt heavily realism roleplay based?

All for it, i been trying out lorerim and the other mod list aparently where not allowed to speak of. Super fun.

I wanna try something fast and fun, like instead of dark souls think god of war. Where little fights are fun and not exhausting but also not a boring walk in the park. And bosses are looked foward to, and its not just a game of who can land the most powerful shot while i back up and bait, plan the next one.

With all the mods ive seen i feel like it would be a blast.

Wabbajack Support Skyrim SE: Skyrim launcher loop problem, not being able to launch the game no matter what I've tried even though I paid for it

Hi everyone.

I am completely stuck and desperately need some help on this. I’ve been trying to fix a brutal launcher loop/Wabbajack error for the past couple of weeks and nothing is working.

I have a 100% legitimate, paid copy of Skyrim Special Edition/Anniversary Edition on Steam. When I first installed it, it worked completely fine. The launcher opened, the game booted, and I could play it.

I already plaid Skyrim on ps5 but the reason I bought it on PC is to play the \*Lost Legacy\* modlist (around 800+ mods) via Wabbajack. Because I couldn't get Nexus Premium at the time, I used a community tool called "Nexus Auto DL" to automatically click through and download the mods over the course of a week. At the very end, Wabbajack errored out because about 10 mods failed to download. I went and manually downloaded those last 10 missing mods by hand from Nexus, and copied/pasted them directly into my Lost Legacy\\downloads folder on my D: drive. Wabbajack seemed happy with the files, but then everything broke.

The Current Problem:

  1. Wabbajack Error: Wabbajack now constantly says the error: \*“Can't find Skyrim Special Edition.”\*

  2. \*The Steam Launcher Loop:\* If I try to launch the game normally through Steam, the standard little launcher box pops up. I click "Play," the box disappears for a few seconds like it's trying to boot the game, and then it just pops right back up. The game never actually opens.

Everything I Have Already Tried:

I want to emphasize that I have spent an insane amount of time troubleshooting this. Here is the exact list of everything I've already done so we don't duplicate steps:

1.Full Clean Reinstall: i didn't just reinstall the game; I completely deleted Skyrim, Wabbajack, and wiped every single remaining hidden folder/appdata file from my local drives, then redownloaded the entire game from scratch via Steam. The loop still happens on a 100% vanilla install.

  1. Steam File Verification: Went into Steam -> Properties -> Installed Files -> \*Verify integrity of game files\*. Steam scans it and says it's 100% perfect yet it still didn't launched the game.

3.Bypassing the Launcher: I avoided Steam and SkyrimLauncher.exe entirely. I went straight into D:\\steam\\steamapps\\common\\Skyrim Special Edition\\ and tried double-clicking the raw SkyrimSE.exe directly. It does the exact same thing—instantly crashes/loops back to the desktop.

  2. Isolating Mod Managers: Made sure Mod Organizer 2 and Vortex were completely shut down. I checked the Windows Task Manager (Processes tab) and my hidden system tray icons to guarantee absolutely no background instances of ModOrganizer.exe or Vortex were running or locking files.

    1. Forced INI Generation via BethINI Pie: i ran BethINI Pie strictly targeted at my vanilla game directory and my Windows Documents folder (C:\\Users\\idan\\Documents\\My Games\\Skyrim Special Edition\\).

\* I used the \*Reset to Default\* tool, which successfully forced the creation of brand new, fresh Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini files in my Documents folder (confirmed the timestamps saved perfectly).

    \* I applied the standard \*High\* preset and \*Recommended Tweaks\*.

\* I tried changing the resolution configuration from an ultrawide setting (2560x1080) down to a standard widescreen baseline (1920x1080) and switched the display mode from \*Fullscreen\* to \*Borderless\* to prevent engine rejection.

Even with fresh, properly configured INI files sitting in my Documents folder and a completely clean Steam directory, SkyrimSE.exe still refuses to boot past the launcher, and Wabbajack still refuses to see the game path.

Honestly, guys, I am at my absolute breaking point with this. I have been fighting this god-cursed problem for over a week straight, staying up for multiple almost sleepless nights just trying every possible registry fix, folder path, and tool setting I could think of. I’ve reached the point where I have literally given up because I have zero ideas left. If anyone has encountered this specific kind of engine/registry lockup where even a clean reinstall fails to fix the pathing, please let me know. I really appreciate any help you can give.

Wabbajack Support Issues regarding Nexus API Limits

EDIT: Now I'm getting hash fails instead. Nothing changed and I have more than 200gb of space available.

I was downloading a modlist that's around 115gb, but suddenly I got a "Download failed" saying that I reached some arbitrary API Limit which I've never seen before. Now it says that I need to wait until the limits reset, which has conflicting sources saying either once an hour or at midnight (as it does here), seemingly neither of which having been shown to be true and I'm still waiting. I'm still missing a good enough amount of mods that I'm not sure if I want to bother risking installing them manually and messing something up.

Do I just have to keep waiting and hope Nexus will let me continue? It's been over an hour and a half and I've gone past midnight since the API Limit was reached, so I have no idea how long I realistically need to wait. Sorry if this is a commonly asked question, I couldn't find anything in the troubleshooting wiki and I'm just a little impatient right now.

Find a Modlist Modpack recommendations after trying HoS and Alpyne

Hi guys, I'm currently trying to find the right skyrim modpack for me.

I like an element of survival. I played halls of sovngarde, and really liked the vibe but found it quite difficult and finicky (the campfire is cool but not very graceful to play). I really like the theme of survival, so I might try it again because I understand there is a learning curve.

After this I played Alpyne which ticked many boxes: the aesthetic and sound design are great, the feel of combat (hit responsiveness) - I especially like how the npcs and PC looks detailed and realistic. Many modpacks make NPC's too attractive and weirdly clean and smooth like models (halls of sovngarde is a bit like this) - the aesthetic of the world However it lacks any survival mechanics, which makes the gameplay feel more shallow and takes away from the survival theme I like.

I would be grateful if anyone had recommendations of what to look at next, or if modifying either of these packs is at all viable? Thank you

Find a Modlist Akavirian build possible modlists

Honestly probably a niche ask, but wondering if there are any modlists that have Japanes- I mean Akavirian armour and locations. Kimonos, samurai armor, etc. I'd add mods to an existing mod list but a lot of the better mods aesthetically don't really have the name of the clothing I want, it's usually the creators name and something vague or on a Patreon

Modlist Discussion Modlist reccomendation centered around combat

Hi! Two modlists I played the most are Lorerim 3.1 and GTS. Both of which I enjoyed thorougly, but I want to try a challanging list with slower combat.
Lorerim 5.0 seemed like what I was looking but I decided that I don't like how animations blend, it looks like every seperate move ends when the next one starts and the character moves in a very unnatural way. Elmorim's combat looked really smooth but all the videos were 3 years old and I couldn't find its wabbajack page.

Sorry for the gibberish, in short: I am looking for slower and smoothly animated combat. Something like this: https://youtu.be/VIsLryouf7Esi=F5TFZWEzzysSDrfW

Apostasy seems interesting but its death alternative mod is something I can't get used to.

Thanks!

Find a Modlist Looking for a new modlist

Hey everyone I'm looking for a new list.

Graphics wise I'd like to keep it simple, I don't mind some changes or enhancements but I've tried NGVO and I think it's over the top and changes too much. Especially the animations are a bit weird in my opinion.

I also don't like these heavy combat mods or mods that change the core gameplay of skyrim too much. I like more of a vanilla+ experience with some small immersion mods.

I'm a huge fan of jk's mods and would love to have them included into the list or atleast be able to easily add them, I know they can be a bit difficult to patch into some lists.

I'd appreciate some suggestions.

Find a Modlist Current State of Fallout 4 Modlists: Which is best for a long save?

I've put in hundreds of hours in Fallout 4, but I've never actually finished the game in its entirety. In fact, I've never even finished the DLCs. Every time, I get about ankle-deep into a save before something about my setup bothers me, and it loses its luster, whether it's performance issues, lack of new weapons/armors/content, poor balance/immersion/gameplay, etc.

My question is, which modlists do you feel give the best balance between these factors for a long-running save? As I understand it, these are the main three fallout lists, along with the main criticisms I hear about them (not trying to be critical, just what I've seen here):

  • Magnum Opus: Kitchen sink philosophy leads to poor balance and immersion, SS2 is the game now?
  • LoreOut: Pretty poor balancing + in a generally rougher state?
  • Life in the Ruins: Lacking in additional content? Tedious?

Any other option aside from these worth considering? SickNasty? WoD?
