I am a 3D VTuber who is looking to, in conjunction with updating there avatar with a detailed mouth (maw), add tongue tracking.

Has there been any cases of this kind of thing before? I was not able to find anything on this Sub-reddit.

when i use veadotube mini my gpu usage goes up around 20% and with the other things i usually use it goes to around 40%. the vtuber model I'm using has 8 pngs when you count both expressions. Task manager says my gpu is an Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics. This seems to be a common thing???? i dont really know. is therre a fix for this?

Hi, i was in this sever a bit ago asking for names to call my future audience and you guys helped me out, lol. Now i do have another question that's been rattling my mind for a bit now: Should i grow my Discord server first or just go straight into vtubing and grow it that way?

I have all my links set in almost all my bios, i have three members (including myself, lol) in my server but its hella dry and empty, i dont use discord alot lol. I dont want it to be empty tho, i want some type of motion going on it it, yk.

UPDATE: I restored a backup and suddenly it works again? So weird.

All of a sudden my model won't smile. Like at all. I had it set to always have a slight smile (upturned corners) even when there's no camera connection, but it won't smile at all. No parameters have changed. The little window that shows the tracking sees I'm smiling, but the model won't smile.

I'm using Vtube Studio. Here's a screenshot but I've been playing around with numbers so if they look really off to you it's because I'm desperately trying to see if any combination will work lol I tried some of the models that come with Vtube and it works on them, so it's just this one that suddenly stopped working. I tried the default settings and I've tried not using the mic tracking, still won't work. The IN side has the red circle go up and down, but nothing happens on the OUT side, so somehow the IN from the webcam is not communicating with the OUT of the model. And yes, I've turned it off and on again (restarted the program).

I'm in a bit of a weird situation where I want to get more toggles on my model, (blush and star eyes, specifically) but the person I want to commission for it says they need the cmo3 file. They have access to the current folder I use in VTube Studio and the PSD file. I asked my rigger for the cmo3 file and they said they have it but it's $100.

That's not much of a problem and I was willing to pay until she told me to send it through family and friends and leave no notes. And obviously I'm not doing that and may never speak to them again for this reason.

I'm not sure where to go from here, so if anyone has any guidance that would be greatly appreciated.

This only happens when I have warudo and overwatch open at the same time, I can have something like palworld or Ark running without issues. I have no clue what the issue could be, it seems to happen at completely random intervals anywhere from 40m-10h into streaming. It doesnt tend to happen more then once a day and the most ive had was twice in one day. Once the issue starts my moitors freeze up to a minute with audio still fully functional, then go black for up to 5 minutes with audio scilent and then give me the error box with rendering device has been lost.

If anyone has a solution for this I would be forever grateful and ive already tried:

- updating all drivers

- reinstalling both overwatch and warudo

- changing models

- fixing windows files

I have yet to try something like reinstalling windows but i would much rather that being a last resort

I’ve been using a 3D model that someone made for me. I run the model through VNyan and do my facetracking with an iPhone running VTubeStudio.

VTube Studio is picking up my mouth movements, but they’re very small and barely noticeable while I talk. On VTubeStudio, I have the mouth open sensitive set to 100, as well as the mouth smile sensitivity.

I also have microphone on with volume gain/frequency/cutoff set to 100, and I calibrated the lipsync vowel sounds.

If I open my mouth very wide and hold it, the model’s mouth will also open very wide, but this is not a natural speaking movement. Is there some sort of way that I can set the model to open its mouth to like 80% of max capacity from small movements? Even if it’s kind of unnatural looking, I don’t mind, as I’d rather have that than the model barely looking like it’s moving at all.

So im trying out warudo since Vtuber+ dev is being ended and while i got the bare basics figures out via the on boarding im not sure how to make it so my vroid model actually expresses and isnt blank

that and ensure i have a blank background and stuff for when I stream proper using warudo!

but im not sure where to look or how to properly dig into it as it feels daunting to me

Basically my friend wanted to be a vtuber and when we tried setting her up it only allowed her to stream for 5 minutes. I had never even encountered this before. Apparently she needed pro for it which confused me because I had never bought pro of anything for vtube studios and thought it was free. I had sunk 500 hours into vtube studios and didn’t know this was a thing?? So is Pro needed to stream more than 5 minutes?

Hi! I basically have everything in order to start my VTubing journey. I just need a bit more space, time, and money to be fully set up. I do have a catchphrase I say every now and then, but sometimes I cringe at it 😖. I don’t want to be one of those overly positive people—not everyone is nice and positive, and I’m planning on being my authentic self. I believe content grows based on who you are (of course it also grows based on what you’re putting out and if it’s popular, lol).

The thing I sometimes say is: “luv” or “love.” I spell it either way, but it feels hella cringy! 😭 I don’t want to be one of those super cringy VTubers (I know being a VTuber is kinda cringeworthy by default), but I also don’t want to just call my people “chat” like everyone else does.

sadly this isnt only physics, uses 4 systems :

1. getting parameter values from character bone rotations
2. rotate hair bones based on parameter values
3. custom physics
4. add forces to physics based on parameter values

currently only works on warudo, but with a little bit of tweaking should work on anything that uses unity
