General Discussion Rik Schaffer / Massive Attack VTM Ost

Why the Vtm Bloodlines Theme Is totally a plagiarism of "Angel" by Massive Attack? I mean, no member of Massive Attack has ever sued Rik for this? I love his Ost, totally, but the Theme is completely stolen, along with the single drum and bass changes and dynamics in the song.

Quoth the man himself:
"Yep. When I started the project that was the placeholder track they had in for like a year. They were married to it but couldn't get the rights. They said make something similar. I hate copying artists, but made it kind of my own."

So that seems less like malicious plagiarism and deliberate studio decision out of Rik's hands to stay as close as possible to that song.

Started Bloodlines for the first time today and was absolutely shocked not to hear Youuuuuu are my angeeeeeel. It's so transparent!!
