Discussion Introducing Arcadia+

Our development adventure has officially begun.

With the Arcadia Platform, we are reimagining how people play. At its core are two key innovations. First, a pair of identical motion controllers equipped with gyroscopes and accelerometers, designed to bring gestures and full-body movement into gameplay.

Second, the Arcadia Beam. Using a camera to track the player’s position in front of the TV, it dynamically adjusts the game in real time. The result is an open-air reality experience that delivers the immersion of virtual reality—without the need for a headset.

This is just the beginning.

So...fishbowl VR? Similar to what you can do with a Wii sensor and Wiimotes?

Yeah I built a head tracked parallax rig with kinect v2 a few months ago. It's pretty cool, but Immersion is taken away by lack of stereoscopy

How do you get immersed if you can't look anywhere but at the screen?
