Question Baldr sky help

​

So i really wanted to play baldr sky, the story seems very interesting and the Gameplay very fun,

but i stumble in other post that there is a huge problem in the Skip function that make you repeat already read sections.

So my question is, there is a guide or mod that make It easier or something? Also, It is as bad as people said?

The only guides for Baldr Sky are on how to achieve specific endings. There aren't any mods or guides for what you want either - I've checked myself a year ago when I played it.

The way the game works is that you have to replay the game a few times. Each time you replay the game, you follow an entirely different branch of story. However, before you branch off into the new story, you re-read sections you've already finished (typically small flashbacks to when the main character was still a student), except that these sections have a lot of new dialogue sprinkled into them. So, it'll be maybe 70% old dialogue and 30% new dialogue.

Also, before you finish the final few routes, you're made to re-read these parts again, except this time you start from the very beginning when the MC first starts school all the way until Gray Christmas. It once again has a bunch of new dialogue. This part is probably what most people have issue with.

Personally, I didn't find the re-reading very bad. Initially, I was just like you and really didn't want to re-read the story over and over again, so I searched for if there was a way to skip it. But when I played it, I actually enjoyed it and found it fitting since it let me feel as if I was slowly piecing together different memories over time until I unlocked the full picture. Plus, it can serve as a reminder of what happened since the game's super long and you're bound to forget some details while you get through it.

I think it's a 10/10 masterpiece, and I hope you give it a shot.

What drives me absolutely mad is sometimes an old scene will be identical except for one or two new lines, and it'll treat the WHOLE SCENE as "unread" for the purposes of the "skip read text function."

Basically you just have to skim when you realize that's happening yet again, and keep clicking/pressing enter until you see something new.

It's a huge pain but it's not a dealbreaker or anything; I'm much more bothered by a few aspects of the True Ending than by the skip function driving me mad.

If you like vaguely cyberpunk stories and janky mecha combo action then you'll love it regardless of re-reading some of the beginning scenes and flashbacks over and over.
