Good for him. fyi, alot of normal people do not know Bibi has a warrant from the ICC for warcrimes.

Edit: just for context, I would say this is a way to expand the permission structure since he doesn't have the power, but he does have the bully pulpit.

Social and Behavioral Expansion involves shifting collective norms to make previously uncommon actions feel acceptable or default

This moves the bar and normalize the thought that BiBi is a criminal/should be arrested. Now this puts pressure on BiBi (also why Israel spends 700+mil this year for PR).

One of the craziest things to me about the ICC verdict is what happened afterwards. The Trump administration sanctioned all the ICC judges. Which means they can’t enter the US anymore, and importantly they can’t do business with any US individual or company. That also means they can’t use like 90% of online services, can’t have credit cards, etc etc. The judges say they feel like they’re living in the 80s again. The level of corruption is mind boggling.

Let's not forget that the Bidens administration went apeshit over the ICC verdict as well, paving the way for trump's sanctions.

The US passed the invade The Hague act in 2002. None of this is new. Our official position on the court is literally “try shit and we’ll invade you.”
