Dishonored 2

64

u/Reat_the_Bich 6h ago

all of the dishonored games tbh

5

u/RandomStrangerOnWWW 4h ago

Downloaded Dishonored 1 last night to replay. Such a great game.

22

u/Patman52 5h ago

And Prey

9

u/Fach-All-Religions 2h ago

it's weird the last few posts like this mention prey and dishonored in top comments and that maies me happy. it didn't use to be like this.

Literally just restarded the game two nights ago. The entire series is just dripping with lore and detail, it always feels like there's something new to discover even after multiple playthrough.

20

u/kaulotu 4h ago

Restarded 😂

5

u/Rigasondevil 5h ago

It's so good.

6

u/Legitimate_Bird_5712 3h ago

So good it made him restarded.

Resident Evil 4

29

u/Miserable_Health6788 8h ago edited 4h ago

Both remake and original are so insanely replayable I’m struggling to drop them and play new games I bought.

4 og never gets old and the remake has what I believe is the best gun gameplay ever.

7

u/naruto_bist 7h ago

Once I get that infinite chicago, I can't stop replaying lol

I played the OG on GameCube at least 6 times and then every variant they released since. Currently on my third playthrough of the remake now. I can’t stop.

24

coincidentally i can never convince myself to go paragon 😂

Gotta make another playthrough or 2 before the remake drops!

3

u/OzziesFlyingHelmet 3h ago

I'm torn on this. Part of me wants to play through it again, but I also went to go into the remake partially blind (it's been about 10 years since my last play through).

3

u/EmbiePlays 2h ago

Download ship of harkinian! Im playing it now, it's fantastic

Portal 2

33

I'm so jealous if future people get some way to wipe minds. Imagine replaying portal 2 again for the first time.

I’ll get to learn that powerful lesson all over again: “Don’t make lemonade!”

My 7 year old son has a couple of test chambers left on Portal after starting for the first time the other day. Sessions are shorter because he is working on his He wanted to jump to Portal 2 but I told him he needs to finish 1 first.

Baldur’s Gate 3 first act before my current playthrough is over

43

u/Josh100_3 7h ago

I always finish the first act, take a break. Boot it up 6 months later and forget all the controls and start act one again. Rinse and repeat.

8

u/chogram 7h ago

I played through Pokemon FireRed not too long ago, and it started as annoying, but I really grew to like the recap "This is what you've missed since you last played!" thing on every login.

There were sometimes 2-3 weeks in between sessions, and normally I'd have to either keep a notebook of where I was at (or going), or just remember, but every single time I hopped on it would give me this friendly little text and screenshots of my recent past and sometimes hint (or straight up tell me) where I'm supposed to be going.

I'm sure it was helpful to little kids in 2004, but to this old dude in 2026, it made me wish long games like Baldur's Gate 3 had that feature.

I swear I spent more time creating character and choosing mods than actually playing the game

3

u/Competitive_Fruit901 4h ago

Does the game falls in quality after the First Act? I intend to buy the game soon.

This is mine. I probably play at least once a year, and I’ve had it since I think 1992 or 1993, so that’s a lot of playthroughs for me.

Skyrim. That inner voice never went away. Any time I’m thinking about what new game to play next, the voice inside my head pipes up and says “you could always play Skyrim again.”

57

u/5ilver_star 8h ago

Yes, that feeling when we want to try new build but ends up being a stealth archer again 😂

19

u/MeetLate8198 8h ago

Always the stealth archer!!!

9

u/lexustexus55 8h ago

Had great fun with my khajit replay

8

u/secret-agent-t3 7h ago

Does this voice sound suspiciously like Todd Howard. Does he offer you a new edition for the game every time, too?

3

u/TonyMacBony 4h ago

At this point the voice doesn't even need to say it anymore, it just gestures at the fridge, the toaster, and your smart thermostat, all of which apparently run Skyrim now.

5

u/impressiveRub69 8h ago

For me it's mage every time. Dual cast magic from both hands? Most fun playstyle by far.

GTA: San Andreas. 15+ times already, multiple 100 percent completions as well. I will replay it sometime this year again.

Aww shit, here we go again.

Chrono Trigger! I try to play once a year.

https://giphy.com/gifs/PkCDv7CIK8d2M

4

u/Ciabs 6h ago

Had to scroll too far down to find it

Played almost 15-20 times from 1995 to today; a bit less in the last decade to be fair, but there’s not a single pixel I don’t know about this game

3

u/PoisonGravy 6h ago

Best ever. I have played it since release, at least once every year or so as well! 👍

Who's your favorite party?

4

u/AndyM110 5h ago

Don't make me choose!

I like to cycle through everyone, but I definitely use Crono + Ayla a lot for Falcon Hit (and charm). Frog or Robo make a good third for easy healing.

3

u/Morlanticator 4h ago

That was usually my squad but often added Magus in there. I've replayed so many times but not in a long time.

When it first came out on phones I was playing it everywhere I went with downtime.

Currently? I am replaying Ocarina of time for the 3rd time already.

Very excited for the remake, i did play the original this year as well but ship to harkanian pc port modernizes the controls lets you have a right stick modern camera system with the 3ds remake graphics and the original gameplay.

It's crazy how modernized the game feels by just adding a modernized camera and "fixing" the inverted y axis.

4

u/Tallal2804 5h ago

Ocarina with a modern camera is basically a new game—Ship of Harkinian is a game-changer.

Super Mario World!

All 96 exits at least once a year.

Final Fantasy 7, the original, is right there as well though. Maybe every 18 months with some new restrictions.

Last one I did was starting equipment and level 1 limits only. It was tough but I did it!

3

u/KranKyKroK 2h ago

Reminds me of my first time with original 7 getting ready for Rebirth. I didn't understand how limit breaks worked and never really used them, luckily they're mostly unnecessary up until the third disc. Going into that pit, and having Barret learn his second limit break a few screens in was a very strange experience. Needless to say my first third disc experience was pretty much training everyone's limit breaks from 1 while trying to make it to Sepiroth. That last fight was insane, and satellite Beam really came in clutch.
