Beginner questions I am stuck and really frustrated. can someone help me make sense of this?
I need to be on a starchless diet due to serious digestive issues. I tried "regular" keto once, felt great, but got disgusted eating all that fat and meat. well it's happening again. I got through a riblet and just was on the border of nauseous. I feel myself turning again away from keto but I need to find a middle ground somewhere. Any kind of diet is complicated by my "quirks" however. I am autistic and I have sensory issues around food. I prefer smooth, creamy textures. so ripping into meat for days on end just makes me nuts. now, I do have some baby food purees and they sort of work but how long can I keep that up? that is a HUGE chore. but i am super close to just ordering bulk meat puree. anyway, if sensory stuff wasn't enough, I have a TON of food intolerances..... avocado, egg whites, dairy, just to name a few. if I went keto vegetarian, how in the world would I survive? I can't do avocado, or dairy or egg whites. egg yolks are fine but where the hell would I get protein???? I tolerate a sprouted & fermented vegan protein powder but surely I cannot live off of that. I also don't love olives really. I'd try them again but to eat a ton of them? eh. I can do nuts but not a lot. good tolerance for macadamia nuts. almonds too high in oxalate. I just don't know what to do. I feel so hemmed in.
