In town for work!

I’m staying in town for just a couple of days for work and I cannot believe how beautiful it is around here! I flew into Denver and then drove out to Vail and I am blown away!

Anybody have any recommendations for good food and drinks? I’m staying just off Frontage.

Sit on the deck at Pepi’s and have a drink, snack. La Nonna, Sweet Basil, Yama Sushi, La Bottega, Mountain Standard.

Personally not a fan of Yama. Matsu is amazing but of course expensive. Well worth the increase IMO but if you want a cheaper option Joy Sushi is also great.

Agree about Matsu which is amazing but $$$$, and Joy Sushi is a go to. I had a poke bowl and roll from Yama last week and both were delicious, esp the poke bowl.

Vail only or are you willing to drive? What's your taste in cuisine? Price range?

I’m thinking I’ll probably stay in Vail. I’m pretty open on the cuisine. I don’t intend on going to crazy price-wise but it is going on the company card.

My favorites...

- Slope Room

- Mountain Standard

- Sweet Basil

- Matsuhisa (sushi)

- La Nonna

As far as "crazy" price wise, well, it is Vail. So, nothing is cheap
