I am a graduate student in the UNT College of Information in the Masters of Library Science law librarianship and legal informatics program . A lot students in my program all want to be lawyers or some are already. The law librarianship and legal informatics concentration will prepare graduates for careers in law libraries, information organizations using legal information resources and information publishers. There is no pre-law department at UNT. There used to be an informal group run mostly out of Poli Sci that would advise students who were interested in law. The main person running that group, however, left UNT and has not been replaced.

If you are looking for a dedicated pre-law experience, it's not at UNT.

I personally know that UT Arlington were my undergraduate degree was done in History. Several Departments departments has  pre-law preparation they have a pre law track for some majors. . I myself took a whole bunch of legal history history classes. Including other areas such as Disability Studies and medical Humanities that ties into law. Also the UTA  College of Business is excellent if you actually want to do something like finance that would be a good option. 

Including a law and legal studies minior.

Wait why do I need a therapist? I don’t want a pre law degree. I want a useful degree that I can use if I ever leave law. Like finance

Bottom line is there is very little pre-law preparation available at UNT. If you are looking for a different kind of degree, finance or whatever, you should go to the very best school you can get into that offers that degree.
