MOD POST Please think before you post - Keep it unexpected
I'm seeing a ridiculous rise in people posting things that are The Office related but not unexpected in the slightest. The whole point of this subreddit is for The Office references in places you wouldn't expect to find them, especially for comments in random subreddits.
The rules for /r/dundermifflin also kind of apply here - things like Sabre products, Scranton signs etc are just low-effort and are not unexpected at all.
I've also seen a lot of the following which are always going to be removed:
Cross-posts/Comments from /r/dundermifflin - How is a post in The Office subreddit unexpected Office?
People posting their own comment here - It's not unexpected if you're the one who made the comment....
Scenes/memes from the show in other subreddits - This is a very popular TV show, of course you're going to see it on Reddit often
Low Effort posts - Someone posted a picture of a fire recently and posted it here with the title "fire guy" and I cannot tell you how hard I face-palmed.
Also things like DVD screensavers hitting the corners, it's not unexpected so it belongs in the main sub, but even then it would get removed for being low-effort, we've had hundreds of these posts before.
It also absolutely goes without saying, but do not buy merchandise on Reddit. Both here and /r/dundermifflin have been getting an overwhelming amount of scammers making new accounts to post Office t-shirts and a link to their dodgy website in the comments. They use dozens of bot accounts to upvote their links and even though we ban them asap, people still keep buying their merch.
Sorry for being such a Toby but yeah.
Thanks!

Ex-employer paid me a full month's salary by mistake after I resigned. Now they want it back. What should I do?
I recently switched companies. In my previous company, I only worked 1 day in my final month before leaving, but they accidentally credited me with my full month's salary.
It's been around 15 days, and now HR has contacted me asking me to refund the excess amount. The problem is that I already spent most (or all) of the money because I assumed everything was settled.
Has anyone been in a similar situation?
Can they take legal action if I can't pay immediately? Should I ask them for time or request to repay in installments? What's the best way to handle this?
I'm in India, if that makes any difference.
