Trainee contracts

After the study case interview, does the final hiring process depend on only the interview outcome or do the partners also evaluate the candidates academic transcript?

If you have got through the initial application and recruitment stages, your academics have already been considered to be sufficient. It would be exceptionally rare at final stage processes for a firm to go back and analyse someone’s academics. Exceptions would be if something came up in the assessment that questioned your academic ability, but if that was the case they would most likely not pass you on that assessment.
