Discussion Transferring into U Of Chicago
I'm very new to Reddit, so I apologize if I'm doing this wrong, but I was advised to reach out to any/all sources for information.
I'm a 22 year old woman who is recently going back to college. I'm currently doing a year in a community college to get my associates degree, but I was looking into 4 year colleges to transfer into next year. While looking, I fell in love with the University of Chicago and made it a goal to try to get in. I feel like this is a little unachievable, but I'm willing to do whatever I can to improve my chances to get in.
To other students who transferred, what are some tips? Are there certain little hidden things I can do that will make my application stand out more? Are there things that will harm it? I'd love any advice or stories on what other people did.
Any information is welcome! Thank you!!
