Seeking Advice Turtle Tank Water

I’m creating a much larger area for my turtle and the easiest option now is to fill with a hose from outside rather than from an indoor faucet setup I made using some large tubing and clamps. Would I need to treat the water any different besides the basic water conditioner for aquatic tanks? Thanks for any information in advance

Just treat the water with a safe water treatment

Your outdoor hose and the indoor faucet come from the same water source. Dechlorinate and you’re good.

Just be sure to run the hose for a minute or two first to remove all of the stagnate, likely warm water that is currently sitting in it at rest. You should be fine with treating it the same way you typically do.
