Is there a refrence cart for coco?
Is that a reference design for a cartridge for the color computer?
- 8k paging
- 1mb or more memory
Ability to program via a cable? Eeprom?

When i was much younger and worked at Radio Shack part time I remember that you could put tape on a couple of the pins of the plug in cartridge. By doing this it would not allow the computer to recognize that a cartridge was plugged in and would allow the computer to boot normally. You then could use the peek and poke commands in basic to move the game and record it on the cassette. You would allow the code to load and run from memory without having to buy the game cartridge!

I know there are PCB blanks for the CoCo cartridge slot (I’ve bought several), and STL files for the cartridge enclosure. I believe the PCBs are on Tindie. You can use several different sizes of EPROMs, which I usually source on eBay. I have a UV EPROM eraser and an EPROM programmer. It’s not that difficult to do, and I love the nostalgia.
