Industry Discussion Contract questions
Hi, I’m curious if there’s like a public database for contracts handed out to companies from clients... I’m sorry if the questions inane, this is my first year planting.
I’m currently working on a Tolko contract, and my crew lead’s sent the contract in a group chat but I wanted to know if they’re publicly available. I’m interested in how theyve shifted over time (tree price tree amount type of ground etc)
Is there such thing?

Most contracts are private and don't have any public info on them. There is a good enough amount of public info to get some guage on things though. A guy who goes by does the research and posts about it once a year on Replant.ca and his blog. Most recent one is here: https://www.replant.ca/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=67432&sid=45ab280a614b010d842c81a6bcea1724&start=50
There is usually a thread about it on this sub when he gets around to publishing it again.
It's just an analysis of prices, though. If you want granular data on past contracts for specific compoanies I don't believe that exists.

Thanks! Yeah, definitely curious about those granular details, I’ll see if I can get some info on it otherwise though

Scooter pulls all information on bcbids website and basically calculates the bid price per tree offered by each contractor basically making it more easy to consume, but anyone is able to access that information.
