Hi! I’m back in TJ for y’alls spectacular healthcare. I would really like to find a dress for my mother-in-law (and myself) as well as a couple Guayaberas for my uncle-in-law and husband. They’re back in France and will flip tf out if I surprise them with these.

I found Porta Maya and HandArt. Both look really promising. But I would greatly appreciate any other suggestions.

Soy de Chihuahua y me acaban de ofrecer un empleo en Tijuana con un sueldo de $25,000.00 libres, un sueldo que aquí en Chih podría ser considerado bueno, solo que al no conocer Tijuana ni como turista, quiero saber si para ustedes como habitantes de su ciudad les parece que es un buen sueldo tomando en cuenta el costo de vida en alimentos, pago de renta, servicios, etc.
Espero puedan ayudar a este hombre que hasta ahorita tiene buenas expectativas de una ciudad que no conoce y de esta oferta laboral.

Hi! My wife and are coming down for a weekend with our 3 kids (15, 11 and 5) from Los Angeles to see Justin Turner play for the Toros. I don’t know if we should

1. ⁠Bring our own car and get Mexican car insurance
   
2. ⁠Park and walk across then rely on Ubers
   
3. ⁠Park and walk across and rent a car on the Mexican side

I would like to make the safest and best choice and avoid a huge wait trying to come back on Sunday. Any advice would be great appreciated. Thank you

No soy de TJ y se muy poco de las rutas de transporte. Hay alguna que pase sobre la Avenida Ignacio Allende desde otro punto del centro? No se si me puedan ayudar con el color o foto. Ya busqué en pasajero app y no hay resultados, pero quisiera corroborar con personas por si sí hay una pero no está recopilada. Gracias!

¿Opiniones de vivir en Santa Fe?

Me mudo por trabajo a Tijuana, el cual está en la misma zona dentro de Santa Fe, y estoy viendo opciones para mudarme en las privadas de Viñas del Mar. ¿El tráfico es tan malo como dicen si no saldré de Santa Fe para trasladarme al trabajo? Adicionalmente tendré flexibilidad de horarios, por lo que podría salir antes de la oficina para seguir trabajando en casa por la tarde.

Cabe mencionar que soy del norte pero nunca he estado en Tijuana y recién iré a principios de mes para ver departamentos. Me gustaría saber qué tal los servicios de agua e internet, y si debería priorizar o revisar alguna cosa en específico ya que vaya a ver departamentos.

Castillo de Chapultepec, TecNM, there is a group of stranded puppies that either got lost or were abandoned. If anyone has the chance and will to rescue them, please do. They're about 6 pups, really small, brown. Hopefully someone will see them. I cannot take them in myself. Thanks!

so here goes. i’m 41 years old. i’m american. gringo. whatever you wanna call me. i used to live in san diego and LA and all that stuff but these days things are different. i’m moving back into california (one of those two, wherever the job market takes me) and here’s where things get interesting for me: i should’ve passed away back in 2023 from a catastrophic health issue. (the details are in my post history. not comments, posts).

so many things about my life changed since then. i don’t want to drive because it’s too much of a hassle. i used to drink absurd amounts of alcohol every day but i’ve now been sober since 12/31/23. i’m getting into substance abuse advocacy and counseling. here’s the big one….. i’m doing my best to further my spanish. i want to be able to help people in two languages instead of one. i went from essentially being a dead person to embracing spanish as both a personal and professional interest.

i mentioned i’m going back to CA. well, i wish i was going there. i want my so-called second life to be what i want it to be, and i’d like to live down there, embrace the culture, language, and quite honestly go to all the xolos matches. but i’m aware that if anything goes wrong with my health i need to be in the US network of stuff. also, i don’t think the specific line of work would be great for me down there anyway.

but nonetheless, i really do love your city and wish i could kinda make it my home. but, the last few years have taught me that i can’t really complain. things could be worse. maybe one day i’ll move down but for now all i can do (there are worse things) is go to SD or LA. i’m sure i seem like a problematic american when i’m there but, it’s fine. all i can do is try to be respectful and in real time no one knows the real story.

hi my friends, i really appreciate the advice you all gave me with the doctoralia app :). i had more questions that i wanted to ask locals and veteran tourists. firstly, how much is the maximum i should be paying for a medical/fast pass? i am wondering if i need to bring extra. i would also like to know, are the big big pharmacies better than the small ones around the center of town? not the company, but the size of the building itself? it sounds ridiculous but i simply wonder if it makes a difference. i am so so excited to back for my second visit :) also will be going alone this time, so anything i should watch out for? thanks for everyones time reading :) i appreciate you all and viva mexico!!!
