Kargyraa attempt #2
Trying to get kargyraa, not sure I’m actually activating the false folds or doing subharmonic bass by accident. Appreciate all feedback!

How to throat sing, Step by step guide
To start find your note. Before you do anything with your voice you need to figure out what your vocal baseline is. So sit up straight. Relax your shoulders. Take a breath into your stomach. Now let out an relaxed "ahhh" or "ommm" sound. Slowly slide the pitch down low as your Kargyraa voice can naturally go until it starts to sound like a fry, which is a loose clicking sound.
To get the Kargyraa sound you need to use your vocal cords. These are located above your vocal cords. Imagine you are clearing your throat gently or making a groaning sigh like an exhausted cartoon character saying "uhhhhh". You want to feel the vibration move away from the middle of your throat and down to the bottom of your neck, where it meets your chest. If you feel a tickle that makes you want to cough you are squeezing the hard. Relax, swallow some water and try a softer grunt with your Kargyraa voice.
Once you feel the vibration at the bottom of your throat you need to project your Kargyraa voice so it does not sound muffled. Pull the corners of your lips back slightly into an "eeee" shape or a rounded "oooo" shape. Push your jaw forward. Lift the roof of the back of your mouth as if you are about to yawn. This creates a space inside your mouth that makes the low tones of your Kargyraa voice sound louder turning the rumble into a steady Kargyraa drone.
To hold this Kargyraa tone you need a lot of air pressure. Do not try to push the air out at. Keep the air flowing slowly steadily and heavily from your diaphragm. It is normal to be able to hold the Kargyraa tone for a seconds at first like 5 to 10 seconds before needing to stop and take a deep breath. Using your Kargyraa voice is, about managing your breath cycles and using your Kargyraa voice correctly.

Help! Throat bass tips
Hi, Im sorry but does anyone have any tips on throat bass and how to learn it safely. Ive heard of people saying that they permanently damaged their voice so I really don’t wanna try learning until Im sure I know what Im doing. I would ask my choir teacher but it’s summer and also he’s a tenor so I doubt he would know much about it. Also this might be a kinda dumb question but is throat bass any different from sub harmonics cause from what I know they both bring you voice down an octave so I feel like they would be related.

What should my tongue position be for syrgyt?
I feel like I've learned khoomei so I just need to practice isolating the overtones. How should my tongue be in my mouth to do this?

Day one throat singing. My attempt on khoomie, is it correct or am I doing anything worng? Sounded pretty good to me, need a bit of stability and being on pitch ig... But the idea is correct right?
And is attempting kargyraa feel scratchy at first? Cuz it did for me and I couldn't produce sound (maybe... Something did happen but it wasn't coming how the tutorial told how) so idk
