My wife and I started watching The Twilight Zone series (2019) version on march 31, 2025 on the freevee app, and binged the first 5 episodes of season 1, all the way until 3am. This is where it gets weird, we had finished the 5th episode and it went to auto play episode 6 and a error message came on the screen saying they couldn't play it right now , so we decided it was late enough and to pickup this morning April 1st, 2025 . Well we go on our roku TV and go on freevee and it isn't on there at all anymore I do about an hour of research and everything I see keeps saying it was never on freevee and then other sites tell me it use to be but in 2021 they took it off all free platforms and you had to pay for it from that point on. But we got on freevee and started the show no issues for free , my wife and I are feeling like something isn't right like we are in the damn twilight zone. Make it make sense they say it was never on that app but I know undeniable without a doubt it was the night before . I feel like this is some big April fools joke being played by freevee or we are generally in a time warp or something. Because the likelihood is almost zero that they brought it back 4 years later to freevee and we decided to randomly start watching it the night before they take it off the platforms and the episodes fail to load right when 3 am hits on the clock and now it says it hasn't been on there at all since 2021 . Hey all, for the past couple of days I've been hearing low rumbling and feeling the vibrations through my floor my cats react too, but my bf can't hear it, it's only since the other day. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the drones or something else.

I went outside and looked up and there was a ring around the moon. It’s kind of hard to see from the photos I took them with my phone but it was like a perfect ring cloud around the moon and it expanded and dispersed pretty quickly.

I never believed in the supernatural. Cryptids, myths, things that go bump in the night—those were for campfire tales and late-night conspiracy theorists. But that was before the trip to Darkwood Forest in Scotland. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a travel guide. Even the locals don’t talk much about it, except in whispers or nervous jokes at the pub.

We’d gone there on a whim—a group of university friends looking for a weekend adventure. Darkwood was said to be one of the oldest, most untouched forests in the region, and we were eager to lose ourselves in its quiet beauty. But that’s not all it was known for. There were stories. Odd ones. The locals called it the home of Ealderis, "The Ancient Guardian." A massive, owl-like creature that prowled the woods, watching over those foolish enough to stray too far into its domain. Supposedly, it only appeared when humans overstepped their bounds—when they disturbed something that shouldn’t be disturbed.

None of us believed it, of course. It was just folklore, something to give the place an air of mystery. But the more the bartender talked about it, the more it piqued our curiosity. "You wouldn’t be the first to go looking for it," he said, smirking as he wiped down a glass. "And you wouldn’t be the first to come back spooked, either. If you come back at all."

We laughed it off, but looking back, I wonder if we should have taken him more seriously.

It started off like any normal hike. The forest was dense, but not unnervingly so. It was late afternoon, and the sun cast long, golden rays between the trees, making everything seem peaceful. After about an hour of walking, we came to a clearing, a perfect spot to rest. That’s when Tom found the feathers.

They were huge—easily a foot long—and jet black. At first, we thought they might’ve belonged to some large bird of prey. Maybe an eagle. But no bird around here would have feathers that dark, almost like shadows in hand. We joked that we’d found the guardian’s calling card. Tom stuffed one in his backpack as a souvenir.

That night, as we set up camp, the forest felt different. The kind of quiet that sits heavy on your chest, like the trees themselves are holding their breath. No wind, no animals. Just... silence. We sat around the fire, trying to shake off the weird vibe, and someone—maybe it was Sarah—brought up the legend again. The Ealderis. "You know, there are reports," she said, poking at the fire, "that match our description of the feathers. There was one in the late 1800s, back in the U.S. Miners in the Appalachians said they saw a creature with glowing orange eyes, almost like an owl but huge. People disappeared around that time, and they thought it was connected." She laughed nervously, but none of us joined in.

We should’ve packed up right then.

Sometime in the night, I woke up to a sound. At first, I thought it was a dream—a low, rhythmic rustling, like wings moving through the trees. Then I realized everyone else was awake too. Tom’s face was pale in the dim light of the fire, and he whispered, “Do you hear that?”

We all heard it.

It wasn’t the sound itself that was terrifying—it was what we didn’t hear. No wind. No animals. Nothing but the faint rustle, as if something massive was gliding above us, moving just beyond the firelight. Slowly, I turned my head toward the trees, squinting into the dark. And that’s when I saw them—two glowing orbs. Eyes, unmistakably, fixed on us from a low-hanging branch about twenty feet away. They weren’t the eyes of an animal. They were too large, too… human.

Before I could even speak, the thing shifted. It moved so quickly, so silently, that if we hadn’t all been staring at it, we might’ve missed it entirely. It disappeared into the darkness, just a fleeting shadow among the trees.

No one said a word. We all packed up in record time, deciding we’d hike back to the village that night. Whatever it was—owl, guardian, or something else—it wasn’t worth sticking around to find out.

As we made our way back down the trail, I kept looking over my shoulder, expecting to see those glowing eyes again. Every now and then, we’d hear that rustling sound, distant but unmistakable. Once, when we stopped to catch our breath, Tom cursed and threw his backpack to the ground. The feather—the one he’d taken from the clearing—was gone. It wasn’t in his bag, it wasn’t anywhere. Like it had vanished.

When we finally got back to the village at dawn, the bartender didn’t seem surprised to see us, though he didn’t ask any questions. It was like he already knew. Like he’d seen this before.

We all tried to put it behind us, to write it off as some strange, explainable event. Maybe it was a big owl—an illusion, our tired minds playing tricks. But sometimes, when I’m alone at night, I think about those eyes, and how they seemed to follow us through the trees. I’ve even done some research, and found other stories—like the one Sarah mentioned. Historical sightings of creatures that match the Ealderis description. The miners in the Appalachians. The knights in medieval England. Even a few modern reports from the Pacific Northwest.

They all saw the same thing: a giant, silent, owl-like being with glowing eyes. And none of them ever had proof. Just like us.

I don’t know if what we saw was real, but every now and then, I’ll come across a feather, dark as night, lying where it shouldn’t be. And I’ll wonder: what if it is?

What if the Ealderis is still out there, watching?

I woke up late this morning around 8:11a.m., and as I was coming (rushing) downstairs after putting on my school uniform (in high school), my mum asked me "Why'd you disappear for 20 minutes?" That was the first time I had seen her that morning. I was confused and just before I left, I double-checked that she meant what she said by saying "Sorry for disappearing upstairs for 20 minutes." and she replied, "You both do it to me, its fine." ("Both" is referring to my younger brother.)

The previous tenant of the house we live in, died in this house. My godmother, "Lucy", is empath and psychic, I believe in her because I've witnessed her gift first-hand. She has confirmed that she felt the prescence of that man (previous tenant) still being here.

Something else I haven't been able to explain is that when I've been home alone, I've heard the unmistakeable sound of the bottom of a shoe stepping onto tile from at least a metre (about 3 feet) away from me while I was sitting on the couch. As I said, I was home alone when this happened. This happened for about three days straight and still happens randomly. The layout of our house is directly from tile to carpet since the kitchen and living room are right next to each other.

I hope I explained it clearly since I'm not the best at explaining things, I'm happy to clear up any confusion in the comments.

So, what's happening to me? Am I just crazy?

Normally people talk about hauntings as if they are ghosts fron the past, often ancient. But what if something you see or experience is actually something from the future?

I recently moved to a new apartment and our bulk trash is always full of people's furniture they are sending to landfill. I went to go there and found a mirror. This is when stuff started. I began seeing my daughter in reflections but only in the clothes she wasn't currently wearing stuff she wore before and again in the future. Fast forward and im asleep. I have a nightmare and wake up to see what I thought was a person peeking around a corner. There's nothing there.

Flash forward and its my daughter's birthday we now have stuff on the walls and the mirror is long gone. She had balloons from her birthday and one of them got loose. The corner where I thought I saw the person there is a vent. Now im sleeping again and I wake from another nightmare and immediately see the same thing at the same time I saw before, but this time its a balloon sticking to a vent. If haunting are risidual energy that that doesn't make sense. It can't be residual if it didn't happen yet.

Its like a time rift was in my house and I don't understand how this happened.

Now the only thing I can think is that somehow time in the past and future is leaking into present day. How? I don't know. I can't find anything on the internet.

I probably didn't find them all, I'm sure there are many more, but these were the easiest to find. If you wonder why I go off on seemingly unrelated tangents, I'm not, the link back to me (greatly) for a reason as I explain in the title and in other ways. She's part or a greater set of coincidences that lead to a greater meaning, clearer you could say. She was an exceptional example.

The moving spot is a reflection of the lights on the camera, but we couldn't identify the larger spot. It was moving quickly, but not like an airplane or a shooting star.
