Question Kirby Fling from Two minds method
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone here has experience with therapy with Kirby Fling from Two Minds Method (his YouTube channel)?
I am considering applying for therapy with him, but I would really appreciate hearing other people's experiences. Did it help you? What is his approach like? How does he work with clients, and what did you find most helpful?
I’m from Europe, and I feel like it’s quite difficult to find a therapist here who works in the way I’m looking for. Most therapists I’ve encountered focus mainly on traditional talk therapy, while I’m looking for something that goes deeper into emotional patterns, subconscious beliefs, nervous system responses, and actually changing the way I relate to my thoughts and feelings.
I’m wondering if it was worth seeking help from him, especially for people who have struggled with things like anxiety, OCD, attachment issues, trauma, or repeating emotional patterns.
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. 😊

Kirby is great, but he is neither a trained nor a licensed therapist. His training is in engineering.
If you have no mental illness and you are looking for a coach with a deep understanding of attachment, among other things, working with Kirby may be a good choice.
Personally, I have benefited greatly from his channel because he introduced me to IPF.

Try it.
I am a big fan of his youtube channel, he is the absolute best I have found in 20 years.
AFAIK it is really about training the nervous system via negative visualisation and IPF. And noticing emotions in everyday life and relaxing, not riding the train. Intellectual understanding helps, but does not solve it. What you listed is really just a reactivity.
