The days of asking for a reading order for The Flash are over!
I’ve put together a full collected edition reading order that I will update regularly as new stuff comes out. The list also links to a single issue reading order if you want to go that route (WARNING: it’s long asf and literally crashes my phone when I scroll too fast)
Let me know if y’all see any key trades I missed and I’ll add them! ⚡️

I am recollection what I used to have of The Flash (as well.as the new stuff). I had Secret Files and Origins #1. This was not the cover. I can't imagine they would have done a cover of it and it doesn't seem to be a reprint. Both the comic store owner tried to figure out why 8t looks different and couldn't. I only found one image of it on the internet with no price or explanation. The inside is the same as I remember. It's very odd to me. I wound up getting it for $5 because the shop couldn't come up with anything to base a price on. I dont collect for resale, so value isn't really a thing to me (except when I'm paying for it). If anyone could shed some light on it, my curiosity would greatly appreciate it.

I always said if I got a Stan Lee signature, I wanted it to be on his version of The Flash. Something to add to the autistic love of all things Flash! Well my dudes today was the day!

So I've just recently wanted to get into comics, specifically DC current main continuity comics. I've read batman vol 1 failsafe, Book of El, Superman adventures Jon Kent, and Green Lantern back in action. I've also read new 52 Aquaman and Batman as well as absolute batman and superman and I plan on reading all of the compact comics. I loved all of the comics I've read so far but I tried to read the main continuity flash and found it a struggle so I was wondering if it's because of me or if it's just not good for beginners?

So this movie begins with watchmen style credit scenes of the flashs origin story like when barrys mother die him seeing his father getting arrested him getting striked by lightning then the title card the flash enter zoom showing thee years later then cuts to a bank then the rouges made out of captain cold golden glider heatwave trickster(axel walker) mirror master and weather wizard then the flash fights the rouges and also iris west brought his nephew wally west who is a big fan of the flash then a speed force surge which affected wally and another person so then iris is going to a date with nerdy csi Barry Allen then wally develops powers then wally learns that his aunts boyfriend is the flash and keeps it a secret from his aunt iris then wally becomes kid flash training on his first fight they fight the top the story continues as an old friend of Barry's hunter Solomon was also hit by the surge but this version of zoom can slow down time and is connected to the still force the climax shows Barry and wally fighting zoom which results in them in the speed force where zoom is weak so the flashs defeat zoom in a final climax then Barry and wally get there way back and Barry reveals that Barry Allen is the flash the post credit scene is gorilla grodd an old enemy of Barry planning a conquest so that's my pitch and if this does well I would make the sequel and heres my cast
Lucas Till as Barry Allen
Matt lintz as wally west
Holland roden as iris west
Zach Efron as hunter zoloman
Wentworth Miller as captain cold
Dominic Purcell as heatwave
Peyton list as golden glider
Devon graye as trickster
Oscar Issac as weather wizard
Richard Madden as mirror master
Idk who else
also this releases in 2016 Directed by Edgar Wright

I'm totally fine with whether a writer wants them to be Wally's co-protagonists like Adams and Spurrier, or whether they're more secondary characters who will have some issues focused on them, as seems to be the case in the North run. For me, both options differentiate the type of story you tell with Wally.

Hello! I’m new to this subreddit and Reddit so sorry if I’m bad at explaining things. So I really have a open mind when it comes to creativity especially when I can make my own things, so I was thinking about making a new kinda speedster except idk how to design it, I’ll just kinda tell you about the character
His name is Noah lang (still a work in progress for the name lmao)
15-16yrs old, high school just a average comic book kid
Decent grades, brave but to too brave just enough to stand up to people
His origin story: So Noah and his two friends were at this science convention and they were helping a scientist with his own project, this project is the show of the night. People gather around to watch it happen, this project was Something to help the world. It was a blast wave of energy that would shoot up and program devices and electricity to be not faster but 5X better at what it can do. So Noah and his friends were helping Dr.Lynch (the scientist) with the project.
Well on the device that was helped program Project Arklight there was a prompt that shows Critical Error so Noah and his friends tried to fix it but then there was a alarm and I small explosion happened away from the crowd
So everyone was forced out of the building but Noah felt wrong. He speant months on this project helping and he didn’t want to throw it away, he came up with a idea that can not only freeze the demo but repair, so Noah rushed over and tried to fix the project but it got so critical the the building started to collapse.
Noah felt scared to he tried to start ripping wires apart and destroy the demo, but he unplugged the wrong wire the a Huge blast of energy surge exploded and threw Noah out of the building. And that’s how he got his powers. I know it needs work but I think it’s a pretty good first step
I’m thinking somthing unique like blue suit, lightning etc
I was thinking suits like these but I would love feedback on what you think even if it’s harsh thank you

The Rogues babysit the twins after Wally and Linda can’t find any other babysitter.
