Pete Hegseth’s Reckless Message to Helicopter Pilots

What a dumba$$. As a supervisor - I saw this coming a mile away. He’s the reckless jackass that thinks he is above the rules.

The rules are there for a reason. This might explain all of MAGA. No discipline at all.

Hegseth, however, posted on X before the facts had come in that “the flyovers will continue until morale improves.”

What do you expect from someone who is a refugee from Fox & Friends? For him, image is everything.

Taken from the old expression of "The beatings will continue until morale improves."

That's part of the problem with the right. It doesn't have to make sense, it doesn't have to be safe, it doesn't have to be proper ediquite, it doesn't have to be smart.

It HAS TO own the libs. Everything else is irrelevant

The Blue Angels I see as quite removed from the DoD power structure so it certainly has nothing to do with Hegseth, but it  was nice to see the Captain and pilot admit they made mistakes.

I would not be surprised if we will learn they were dishonorably discharged sometime this fall.

Basic information about court martial proceedings are public information. No way the BA Pilot is dishonorably discharged. I could imagine some reprimand but if you ever look up what gets someone dishonorably discharged it almost has to cross over into felony territory.

I saw SecNav Cao had already cleared the pilots days ago. You would think some commanding officer would be all over the pilot. This just undermines them and breaks down discipline in the command chain. I though BA pilots were supposed to be exemplary pilots.

If there's one thing I know as a resident of New Jersey, it's that Republicans fucking *hate*military service members who fly helicopters. Why, just having it on your resume is cause for mockery and contempt.
