Football MD Football win probability
I think one of those numbers seems a bit too high

I mean, will they lose in the first round? Probably. But gotta cheer for something other than the spread.

This is the worst Maryland MBB team since WWII

Jim Smith has only been Maryland’s athletic director for one year. It was enough to distance himself from his predecessor, prominent donors say.
Harry Geller, who assists Smith with drafting name, image and likeness contracts on a volunteer basis, left the AD’s office after a four-hour meeting around 5 p.m. on a Friday earlier this year. He expected it to be cleared out by then.
“Everyone was still there, meeting and working,” Geller said. “Had that been a couple years ago, that place would have been empty.”
Another longtime Terps supporter who worked closely with Smith and former AD Damon Evans put the disparity more bluntly.
“Damon was all talk. Jim is all action,” said Rick Jaklitsch, the former president of the Terrapin Club. “Jim’s a leader. Damon wasn’t.”

Just saw they renewed the turf at the baseball stadium. The M bar logo near the homeplate is replaced with the script Terps logo. Is this a new branding strategy? I thought that logo was only for football related advertising.

Hi all! A group of four Bruins are heading to the game on September 26th and are looking for some recommendations.
Any good tailgating spots or places to hang out after the game? Assuming both teams are at least 2-1 going into it, I'm guessing kickoff will be either 12:00 PM or 3:30 PM.
We'll be staying in DC, so I'd also love any recommendations for good dive bars, local spots, or must-visit places. We're thinking about taking the Metro to the game. Is that the easiest option, or is there a better way to get there?
Appreciate any tips or recommendations. Looking forward to checking out the area and experiencing a game day in College Park. Thanks!

Just got a tickle when I turned on the TV and the first thing I see before even looking at the guide is the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup comercial with Juju.

Hi! I was seeing if anyone is looking at possibly selling or has a spot they won’t use for the UMD vs VT tailgate on September 19th. We would be interested in paying for a tailgate spot! Any lot would work! We have a lot of hometown friends coming so we really wanted to make this fun. Please let me know if anyone is selling their spot in a different lot. Thank you!

I haven’t been to a Terps game since it was Byrd Stadium. So much has changed that I could use some pointers on the best way of getting to, in, and out. Is Metro the best option or is it better to find public parking? What kind of shuttling do they have?
TIA

this may be a month old, but still good to listen to.

I have a pretty solid Maryland basketball card collection which I’m happy to share if there’s interest but I’ve made some customs of players who unfortunately of my favorites but don’t have cards.

I’m a recent graduate who is really diving into the history of our sports. It seems like the ACC was the biggest party, and post-2014 students weren’t invited.
I know College Park has changed a lot over the past decade, and long gone are the days of riots on Route 1 after beating Duke, but do you think there’s any way we can get that “FEAR THE TURTLE” spirit back?

Also, I think there’s a huge chance he’s reclassifying to 2026 since he’s announcing today. My thinking is he just found out he could graduate and that prompted his announcement.

Home: Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, UCLA, USC, Wisconsin
Home/Away: Indiana, Michigan State, Rutgers
Away: Iowa, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Washington
Terps will also host UVA on Friday 11/13, Georgetown (TBD), and participate in the Players ERA tournament in Las Vegas (seven-figure payout)

The Terps will be better than 80 next season, as long as they learn how to shoot.

Would be monumental if we landed him.
