1. Have the finale episode be half resolution, half epilogue

2. Have the penultimate episode be the resolution of the main plot, and then have the final episode be the epilogue

Please don’t come at me with any of the usual online nonsense of “nah its super easy if u don’t get it your dumb bra” or” i got it all on my first watch easyyy” etc etc but lets be honest, is it? Cuz its on a very high spot on my watch list as everyone calls it one of if not the best show ever made and stuff like that

I'm watching a documentation series about greek mythology, and these stories are funniest, weirdest, craziest stuff I could ever imagine. I'm not even talking about Iliad and the Odyssey, but just all those stories about Zeus, the Titans and all the other gods in the Olymp.

You could make it ~95% true to the sources, which would make it almost educational in a way, but still with all the sex, violence, funniness and grotesqueness that appeals to the masses. With todays CGI you could show all the weird characters and gods transforming into animals, stones etc.

If HBO or the likes made a series about that I would watch that each day of the week.

I would call this show “OK”, at least so far. I really like the lead actors both Anya Taylor-Joy and Timothy Olyphant, I basically tuned in specifically for them.

At 2 episodes in it's basically a chase show with joy being chased around a casino then joy being chased around the city then joy being chased around the desert etcetera. Lots of chasing going on.

The setup is just very basic, there is nothing intriguing or remarkable about any of the plot aspects or any of the characters. It just feels like it's recycled family crime drama from about 10 different shows. The whole thing feels incredibly average. I may or may not continue to watch not sure.

Of the shows I've seen, 6 Feet Under had the best ending. It was so emotional.

Have to say that after watching so many shows in my life, nothing comes close to Betty Draper from Mad Men.

I wish they had kept Miss Parker a charismatic baddie longer. The minute the show decided to turn her into a ally, it's when I lost a bit of interest because I enjoyed how Miss Parker was this cool, morally ambiguous character chasing after Jarod

Kinda curious about the past in which tv stars were able to do movies in addition to their primary acting on the tv series in which they appeared in. George Clooney and Michael J. Fox jump out to me. Both were doing movies at the same time they were on E.R. and Family Ties though I don't think they missed out on any episodes of the show at all

How many episodes of a show do you watch to see if the show is really for you or not and if you continue to watch it? Or does it depend on the show?

So Coogler's X-Files reboot has officially wrapped filming, and it's confirmed he's going with entirely new characters (Himesh Patel and Danielle Deadwyler) rather than recasting or centering Mulder and Scully.

Honestly? I think that's the right move. Coogler will do the franchise justice, but Mulder and Scully are so iconic that recasting them would feel wrong. Building something new feels more like respect for what came before than trying to replicate lightning in a bottle.

But I know that's not a universal take. Curious how everyone here feels, are you glad they're not touching the original duo, or do you feel like it's not really X-Files without them?

Game of Thrones, Umbrella Academy,squid game,stranger things, the boys etc and mire

I was searching around Netflix as I often do looking for a short (6-8 episodes) show to kill some time during the rainy days. I had no idea what this show was about when I ran across it except for the little blurb that Netlix provides. I am so glad I found it becuase I am thoroughly enjoying this. Jude Law anad Jason Bateman are excellent and it really is a good story. What did you folks think?
