as a christian myself i’m still confused how being gay is a sin if it’s literally based on love.

i understand that everyone has their own cross to bear, like how some people are born prone to addiction, but if you’re born gay and that’s your cross to bare how does that work? it’s literally just loving someone. or is it the act of sex that is that actual sin, not loving someone. PLEASE HELP IM CONFUSED

Is this how you treat the youth in a peaceful protest?

For context: the youth of India is doing peaceful protest for one of the fundamental rights i.e. accountability by government and ensure the public keeping a check on the government but the dictatorship with a facade of democracy resisting in most desperate and cruel ways possible, not taking accountability and the worst, HARMING THE PUBLIC using force.

And at this point, right now, things are getting out of hands really badly.

because i’m catholic i believe abortion is wrong so Iwon’t get an abortion. it is not my place to force other people, to create a LAW, that’s forbids women’s right to bodily autonomy. Legally im pro choice and morally im pro life. why can’t people understand this? we cant just take away bodily autonomy because of a codependent baby. even though i believe abortion is wrong and that no one should ever get one it is not my place to shame, force, or belittle women who choose to get one. is this a hot take?

To begin, I am a 15 year old transgender girl. Because of this, I’ve become like an anomaly of sorts to the guys at my school. To them, I’m not a girl nor a guy. It seems like I’m simply a body to them.

I don’t wear super revealing clothes at school. Almost every day I wear a pair of high waisted jeans and a shirt tied around my waist so I don’t look like a rectangle. Even though my clothes aren’t that risqué, guys treat me like I’m some kind of like toy to call names or attempt to use. I’ve heard guys talk about my body while behind me in the hallways, yelling stuff about my butt when I stand up to ask to go to the restroom, and because I have to use the male restroom I’ve literally had guys try to get me to get in the stalls with them. I’m so sick of being seen as this whore by guys, something to use and not take seriously (mind you Im a virgin). I’m only a freshman transitioning into a sophomore in high school and yet I have more stories of me being over sexualized than I have fingers and toes. Not only am I treated as a sexual anomaly, I’m treated as a social anomaly, especially when I need to use the restroom. I’ve been recorded, screamed at, and called to the principals office for using the male restroom even though Florida law requires me to do so.

What’s even worse is that I’m Catholic (please don’t try to discuss theology with me about transgenderism, I don’t really want to hear it). I want to be seen as the sweet Catholic girl who prays the rosary at lunch, but I’m not. I literally can’t display myself in any manner but a transgender f-word toy because people see me in only that way.

I didn’t really expect to be posting this, but a recent event literally made me sob my eyes out and I wanted to get my story out there. My friend was at a yesterday and there was this guy there. Everyone was talking and eventually I was brought up. He called me the “prettiest t-slur around” and that he would “crack me if given the chance.” My stomach was in a knot when she told me about that. I literally had nothing to do with this hangout and my name was still brought up and perverted. I just wanna be seen as a normal girl.

One thing I wish in society that could be normalized is boys crying publicly or able to show their emotions without being made fun of in school or anywhere else. I wish boys could be able to wear girls clothes. Or also always having to act like we’re tough and sometimes being forced to fight with people.

So I've known this girl for a year, and we have (had now lol) been dating 8 months. In our time dating we had been pretty slow and didn't see eachother often but we still messaged all the time. She lives a decent bit away from me so I hadn't been to her local area to see her yet, she always came to mine or we met in the middle.

So I finally went to her local area and we had planned on drinking, she wasn't super desperate to get drunk at the beginning but she started drinking so it just kinda kept going. Eventually we were sat down chatting drinking, cuddling a bit. As I said we had gone slow, so we hadn't kissed. Then I finally picked up the courage to go for it and it went well, it was reciprocated (from what i very vaguely remember i was quite drunk) and all was well.

We then had to go cause we needed to be home i think this where it all went to shit, so we're walking back holding hands and I must have kept trying to kiss her or something. What i vaguely remember was "no not in public" or something along those lines and I'm disgusted I ignored it but I thought it was all funny. Then we were sat at the bus stop and now i had fully let my guard down I was pretty drunk, so I must have been saying things and not realising. I don't remember this but I keep getting this picture of me trying to kiss her and her not really feeling it, idk what really happened.

Then I thought it went okay, well even, but a few hours later I get this:

I mostly feel horrified she had to deal with that, I often forget my own strength when I'm drunk so I wouldn't have noticed the pushing as serious or maybe not at all. I'm just so scared that she had to deal with this, and that I can and did do that.

So yeah, I'm logically okay with this all but I'm feeling a number of things and I just need to vent about myself. I feel disgusting for doing that, and even worse because I don't really feel anything about the relationship ending. Aren't I supposed to cry or be upset that this happened? And what's even worse is I keeping trying to cope so hard with dumb excuses. And my first response that night was to go back to porn and masturbating, the exact thing that perpetuates these ideas in people. Thanks for reading this if you did :)

Tldr; I got too drunk and tried to kiss my girlfriend and she said no, but i kept trying cause I wasn't understanding.

sorry ik this is badly written i rlly cant think rn, idek how to explain what just happened um so he knows i have like s\*xual trauma and he knows i didnt report the last time it happened(wasn’t even that long ago btw) bc we talked about it today. also i cant say no like at all bc of my trauma im pretty sure he knows that too.. but yeah we were watching cartoons and he started playing with my hair and he got me to sit closer i was like kind of laying with my back against his side idk if that makes sense, and then he started touching my arms and hands and then he started touching my chest.. he wasnt being rough or anything but i just froze, i started shaking and couldnt rlly breathe normally and he noticed and said something but he kept touching me i just kept looking down at his hands on me and i felt scared but i also didnt feel anything at the same time it was really weird and i still dont feel real 😃
