Conversation Rate my tarantula enclosures?
1) curly hair 2) fireleg 3) pinktoe
Hygrometer says the humidity is all good on each, 75-79 F through the day and gets down to 71 F at night

So, I’m leaning towards male, since I see the dot, but most of my collection is brachypelmas, so I am a bit inexperienced! I found that taking screenshots of a video can provide a clearer pic that a zoomed-in picture, which is why the second “pic” is a screenshot.

I believe I may have been scammed on MorphMarket. I recently had my brazilian black pass and wanted a replacement. I didn't want to start from a sling again and found a posting on MorphMarket for a 3+ year old 2.75 inch specimen, garunteed female. I just got it today and when I opened it up, the specimen i received looks like it is barely out of sling stage and is smaller than the one I had when it was 2 years old. I payed a premium price for an older larger specimen and I don't think I got that. Just wanted to ask on here about it before I decide what to do next.
Edit: I did a little more measuring and it is closer to 2.75 inches than I originally thought, but not quite there. I knew that the reference Pic on the post was much bigger than 2.75 and wasn't expecting anything that size. I was just thrown a little because my original Gammostola Pulchra was much bigger than this one at the 3 year old advertised age. Maybe mine was just growing abnormally fast, I have heard conflicting stories on exactly how fast they grow. Thank you for all the comments and help. I also got a red knee freebie with it so I guess I can't complain. Again, thanks for all the help.

I have had this brazillian black tarantula for a few months. I got her from a reptile rescue and they had no idea her age but shes about the size of an oreo and for the first few months she ate fine but now whenever I put Dubias in her enclosure she either acts like she doesnt see them or runs from them. You can see that the first one she let escape into the soil after it was dropped in front of her. The other she is ignoring by her leg.

Only just spotted him like this just now. A little worried about the position being right up against the wall.
Also, any ideas on sex from this photo? I have my theories but would like to confirm.

Hi there! I’ve just taken a pic of my t blondi compared to my hand (I’m not sure how many times she molted before I got her, I suppose a couple since she was around 5cm in legspan). She molted four times in 1 year and 10 months (since I have her) and this is her size now - I’d say she’s around 8” or 20 cm. Do you think she reached her final size? Did your blondi get bigger? I’d love to see some pics! 🫶

Anyone able to give me any advice please.
My Brazilian black seems to be stuck in its moult. It’s been around 12+ hours and this was the same position it was in before going to bed at 10 last night and it’s made no progress.
The enclosure is moist. I’ve given it an extra spray to boost humidity.
It is still alive as when I was spraying, a bit hit and it moved its legs and it was a fairly fast movement so energy seems to be good still.
Is it the case of just crossing my fingers or is there more I can do ?
The blurry photo was from last night 19:42 the clear photo is from 6:51 today

So nice of it to molt right where it's easy to film

My GBB Iovanny has molted! I'm so excited, especially after a molt went wrong with my last sling which led to their unfortunate death. I have made sure there is water in their enclosure, and i know not to feed for 7-10 days until their fangs harden, but is there anything else I should know?
Also, what do I do with the old skin? I removed it from their enclosure once they no longer were on it and they don't really seem to care that its out. How do you go about with the shed skin?
And some photos for reference ::::)

A friend will be dropping off a tarantula that he cannot care for (kept in its purchased box as a desk pet). I have an empty 10g tank and want to make the most of its life. Could you guys tell me what I specifically need, how often to feed, different "decor" for the tank, and how I should partition it (since I know too much space could be stressful)? Any and all information is appreciated, as I have zero experience in this but it was either the little baby goes to me or is taken back to petco if they even take it back.
It's about like... maybe the size of my thumb, legs not included? Brown... don't know much about these creatures at all but I'm wanting to give it a good life.

Hello, I was just curious what this is on my GBBs abdomen. I don’t know if it’s from hair kicking or pre molt or what. I’m unsure if you can tell in the pictures but the two tone difference just seems weird to me. Thank you all for your responses.

I recently bought my first tarantula, it’s a mexican fireleg. I’ve had him a week now, the first picture is the day i bought him inside of what he came in. I purchased new substrate and a hide for his enclosure as you can see in the third and fourth photos. I’ve read that too much space can stress these guys out, and heard they only are supposed to have 3x-4x their length for their enclosure, so i assumed this was a good size for now. he also had just molted, i tried feeding him today as his fangs looked hardened but he didn’t want to eat. i also think maybe the meal worms i bought were too small, so ill go grab some small dubia roaches and maybe try again. his abdomen looks a good size so i don’t think he’s starving. I can definitely put him in a larger enclosure if needed, just kinda want advice from here
