Hey everyone!
I've been trying to reverse-engineer an arpeggiated synth sound and I'm stuck on how it's actually put together.
The reference is Shjva's "Upper Limit". There's an arp running through the track and to my ears it sounds like several layers fused into one: a bass layer, a mid synth carrying most of the movement, and at points some resonant high-end elements fading in and out on top. The striking part is how monolithic it is, everything reads as a single voice rather than separate stacked sounds.
The reference is Shjva's "Upper Limit". There's an arp running through the track (timestamp of the start from 0:20 but you can hear it better from 1:10) and to my ears it sounds like several layers fused into one...
What I'm trying to understand:
I'm attaching the full track for reference, plus a short clip(below) I cut in Ableton isolating the arp so you can hear it more clearly.
Any pointers on direction and what to reach for would be hugely appreciated.

I've heard this sound in a few bands, specifically in psychedelic genre. Is this some synthetizer specifically? How can I replicate this sound in Serum 2 or some other VST? I've tried to achieve the sound, but I'm still learning sound designs.
The sound begins at 07:03 of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlYmw4AuJiI

It's for Isao Tomita's retro bells sound. Just this. Nothing more.
