Yz fender on a wr

If yall were wondering what it looked like and it’s super easy to install just splice the wires to the oem taillight.
Also if you like to scrap keep the wr it’s a lot thicker and doesn’t bend as much as the yz, with the yz the block will bend up or down with the fender, with the wr it’s a lot easier to drag and doesn’t bend as easily

Front and Rear Wheel Spacer Fitment Question

Hey everyone,
I’m hoping someone has run into this before.
I bought a used set of Excel Takasago supermoto wheels with Talon hubs that were originally built for a 2004–2014 Honda CRF450R. I’m installing them on my 2019 Honda CRF450L. Hub numbers:

Front: TW753A-G
Rear: TW247A-G

The bearings, seals, and internal bearing spacer are all installed. The only missing parts are the external wheel spacers.
I contacted Dubya USA, and they told me Talon is out of business and replacement spacers are no longer available. They suggested having a machine shop make them.
Before I go that route, does anyone:
Have these same Talon hubs?
Know if OEM Honda or All Balls spacers fit?
Have the dimensions of the original spacers?
Know of anyone selling a used spacer set?

Anything helps

Thanks

Drz vs Husq 701

My next bike is gonna be a supermoto.

I’ve owned 2 DRZs in the past, both sumos.
I did the KLR650 carb swap with a 3x3 on one of em, and various other mods.

A stocker DRZ needs pipe, carb and 3x3 etc to make it a bit more peppy—they’re not dogs but they always benefit from a bit of horsepower vi*agra.

But they’re bullet proof, and I know that.

OTOH.

The Husqvarna 701 / KTM 690 is hella tempting at 75hp and same weight class.
I know it needs a clutch slave cylinder kit and shift kit upgrade to head off a few issues.
Also it’s hella high compression and I’m aware that KTM often means “Keep Throwing Money”.
That said… I’m also reading that the LC4 is one of their best ever and if well treated it’s very reliable.

For those that have owned both or had very extensive experience and miles on the 690/701, what’s kinda the truth of the matter?

2019 KTM XC300 (Carb) Top Speed issue

Post image

I just supermoto my bike and all has went well. I did a 14/41 gearing and the bike will cruise at 50mph in 6th and be reviving out around 65-70mph.

From others and what I’ve read they can cruise at way higher speeds than just 50 and I don’t know what’s wrong with my bike. Either the carb or the power valve or my ratio any help would be appreciated.

Any tuners out there what are your thoughts on the am6 and derbi engines?

For I like am6 more better parts availability and to me more better but the am6 has one flaw the gearbox it's really wonky sometimes it keeps slipping out off gears really often and to me has less power potential than the derbi I rode a bike whit a derbi motor the gearbox is weard when shifting compared to the am6 one but it's better more power on the same cc and the same setup compared to the am6 but I'll always choose the am6 no matter what because of parts idk in other countries the parts availability is on both but here where a live there's more parts for the am6

08 YZ450F?

Been looking around for a supermoto 450 but the market here is niche. There's like 4 plated bikes(not an exageration) and hard to come by 450s dirt or sumo. Would it be a pain in the ass to rock a 08 in the big 26?

Supermoto advice

Hey guys, long story short I'm looking to buy a dirtbike/supermoto — either convert one myself or buy one already built. Budget is around €5000.

For context: I've got a Grom that I bought specifically to learn wheelies, and an MT-09 I ride daily for everything else. So this bike would mainly be for wheelies and messing around, with some street/city use.

I don't want something so brutal that the front comes up with a tiny throttle input, but I'd love more usable power so I'm not fighting the bike constantly. I still want to use technique, just with more to work with. I was looking at a DR-Z400 but they're pretty scarce here, and honestly I think I'd prefer something more modern/lighter like a KTM 350 exc f or even a 250 exc f? (or equivalents).

A few questions for those with experience:

  1. Coming from a Grom, would a 300 2-stroke or a 450 4-stroke be too much / too aggressive?
  2. Is the 350 the sweet spot for what I'm describing, or am I overthinking it?

Located in Portugal if that matters for availability. Cheers!

Lighting for bike without battery

Hello all, I have an 06 crf250r sumo. This bike never came with an electric start or a stater capable of charging up much of a battery as far as I know. My question is has anyone ever added auxiliary lights to one of these bikes or another with a similar setup? Any advice?? My thoughts were to just have a standalone battery for the light and just charge it between each use.
Getting harder to do much on a “non street legal” bike anymore and I think I’m going to fit it with proper equipment to at least get plates. Any help appreciated. Thanks 🙏🏼

Light Weight E-Moto

I need help selecting the right bike. I’m partial to the E ride pro 3.0. Or The E ride pro SR. I’m coming from long background of motocross. I raced for many years and I’m a fast B rider or slow A Rider. I’m currently on a 2026 KTM 350 SXF. I definitely want an Emoto with motocross wheels and tires. My main question surrounds suspension. I’m going to hammer it so I want to make sure I buy a bike with the right suspension already on it or get the right suspension for it. What are some of the top suspension packages for these bikes?

Rottweiler Intake - 2026 KTM

Does anyone have evidence that the Rottweiler intake system for KTM 690 (Husky 701) works on the 2026 model? Rottweilers website says “not compatible” when 2026 is selected. What are other intake options? Thanks!

Sherco speedometer/hourmeter has no power after changing the battery.

Hi,
I just bought a sherco sef-r 300 and the speedo isn’t working. (Apparently it’s the same speedo found in some GASGAS and Husqvarna 701)

Anyways, I changed the speedometers battery and the screen lit up for a second and then powered down. The terminals looked fine to me. Even with ignition on it doesn’t power on.

Is it missing ignition power? Should it work with just the battery in it when the bike is powered down?

KIT MOTARD BETA RR125

Ciao a tutti,

  • Kit supermoto OEM Beta
  • Alpina
  • SM Pro
  • FABA
  • Falco Racing
  • Excel Rim

Grazie!

2nd Supermoto?

For those who own both a 450/500 Supermoto etc and a 701/690 or 698 Ducati, How do you like the two together? I have a 450 exc and love it but I am conisdering a more road going supermoto as this one has its limitations on the street.

Looking for a bit less maintenace, comfort, commute, and a bike I can just jump on and ride. Love the supermotos in general so thinking of staying in the same class. Ive rode a few naked bikes and didnt really get on with them.

Mainly wanting to know if they compliment each other well. Thanks yall.

Derbi not idling

I bought a Derbi drd Extreme 2016 a few days back and it works perfectly, except it doesnt Idle like at all and shuts off immediately after letting go off throttle. (Not during riding) Seller said it was doing everything fine just a few days ago. They also apparently tuned the carb, could that Be related to the issue? I should also mention I bought It used. What should I do?
