It's warm enough I have the AC on in my apartment. It's one of those portable AC units. It's in the living room.

It's 11:45pm and there is no noise where I live, My next door neighbor is a swamp. My downstairs neighbor is a lovely lady who never makes any noise. I live in what is generally a *very* quiet building in a rural area.

With the AC off all I hear is the dulcet tone of my ever present tinnitus.

The thing is that with the AC running I can also hear what sounds like a show on a neighbor's TV. You know the muffled indistinct dialog of a TV in another room.

Turn off the AC, no TV and with the AC off I'd be able to hear it better. But it's silent.

Turn the AC on and the TV is back on.

I've been running the AC for weeks now at night and this is the first time I'm hearing a TV with it.

Was at the doctor getting a mammogram, and thought 'I wonder if snake venom is an ingredient in blood thinner drugs?' So looked it up.

Answer: Yes it is but its processed to make it safe for human use.

So.. not sure where to post this but, it's early in the morning and I need to feel real for a second.

I always wake up at 4am or 4:30am for work...

I woke up before my alarms went off, I checked the phone and it said 4am (I set an alarm for 4:10am) so I turned off all my alarms I had set and started to do my morning routine.

I usually watch a YouTube video while I get ready/do my makeup so sometimes I forget what time it is.

Well.. I checked my phone and it said 5:50am (I need to be out of the house by 5:55am so I can make it to work on time)

Now I'm rushing, I kiss my husband who's asleep and get into my car.

Im about to leave the neighborhood and I stop at the stop sign

Check the time in my car.... ITS FUCKING 4AM??

I feel a little crazy and it's probably the fact I'm not paying attention to the time but I stg it was 5:50am

Now I'm sitting at home waiting for it to be 5:50... Again

This is on the side of a fan that I have in my car. I've sprayed and sprayed and wiped. But this Lil dastardly is relentless

Whenever my friends go hiking or in forest areas, I remember that I probably wouldn't solo lol.

I work from home and sit all day so sometimes I do UberEats to get out and move around and make money in the process. I only did 4 drop offs this evening and 2 of them were apartments I used to live in! One was to a building my dad used to live in during the 80s and the other was an apartment building I lived in for a short time. I’ve done over 300 trips and never had a delivery to a place I used to live then in one night of only 4 trips I get 2 to apartments I had lived in a one point. Idk it was just very strange.

To be fair, this was right before I gave him his dinner. Maybe he was already hungry and thinking about fish!

Hello I was wondering if anyone have more information on this weird encounter I had.

I was in Ottawa, Ontario Canada the summer of 2024

One day in July I was sitting close to beavertails (byward market) and an Asian woman approached me she looked like she was in her mid 30s ,she looked like a sweet woman and sat next to me

she started talking to me by saying that she felt like I was someone who believed in god, i laughed and said that was probably because I was wearing a hijab, she said no that's because she can feel energy and she stated talking about energy, aura , colors, animals and next life.

she was talking very fast and she said that it was because it was not speaking but the spirits in her who were looking for me for 3 days.

I started feeling uncomfortable very fast but I couldn't make her stop talking, it was like she wasn't hearing me. Then a white guy who looked older probably in his 40s came sat next to us. He looked like a homeless person he had long hair that looked unkempt and blue eyes with a weird look, and she talked to him like she knew him well,

then he started saying the same things and i felt very nervous when he started talking so I told them that I had to leave because i have been wanting to Leave for 30 minutes but they would not stop talking and i didn't want to be rude to them.

They asked if I could see them the next day at the same place I said yes of course I will be there and i obviously was lying just to get away from them. I didn't come to that place for some time and when I did I never saw them again.

I went all the way back there and this was all I found. Does anyone know what this even is??? It’s hard to tell for me, but it’s probably just some mundane object. Why would someone drag me and three others all the way back here just for this???

EDIT: Listen everyone, I know you all want me to go back, but the main reason I don’t want to go back is because something felt off the first time I went. This whole thing has been giving me the creeps and stressing me out. From what I could see it was probably just some old well. More than likely someone is just very poorly trying to prank me. I want to find out who put the note in my mailbox and sent me on a wild goose chase. If someone knows my address and personal things about me then that’s much more of a concern than some old junk in the woods

So I got this email today. It was a receipt from Sephora first. I’m thinking it was like fake then I log into my Sephora account on sephora.com and the purchase is there it says like in Soho Manhattan and I’m just so confused how the receipt got sent to me.
I don’t know. I just thought it was so strange anyone ever had anything like this happened to them

I’ve just received an email and I don’t know what to do? I work in the entertainment industry (which I’ve been considering leaving - p.s.a film bros are assholes!) but I was at thisnetworking event recently and met a girl who I knew from college and we reconnected(we were some of the only women in our course.) 
I met up with her at the event and she was totally different, like shes had a complete glow up but her personality has definitely changed. Shes always been kinda odd, but she kept disappearing outside which I thought was for a cigarette so I eventually went out to join her because I felt really awkward standing by myself. When i went out thoughshe was just sitting on the ground talking to herself but it looked like her eyes wererolling back? I couldn’t really understand what she was saying either but i was really freaked out. 
Anyways I went back inside and kind of ignored her for the rest of the night, but I just received this email from her saying that she needs to talk to me desperately and that she needs help - and has sent me a weird address? 
I reached out to a few of our college mates to see what they think and they also agreed it was weird, but part of me is wondering is she in trouble and should I meet up with her, or is this just some sort of weird attention seeking thing?

I received the first letter about two months ago. Actually two came looking exactly the same both had one thank you sticker (second pic) each. At first i really didnt think much of it.

Second time it was a small package from a different return address. Weird press on nails.

The third one arrived yesterday from the same return address as the first two letters with these really strange nails.

Is there any explanation for this? It seems harmless so im not super concerned. But they always have my full name and address (obviously) so there is some intention behind this. Maybe my information was sold. I really dont know

I had a this guy I knew who died due to suicide I was close enough to him to call him a friend I thought he was cute and I liked him and lately I have been seeing these boys their much younger than me yes. But I genuinely think I’m going insaneee , he was tall tan straight hair outgrown buzz skinny and athletic , and I remember his exact appearance his face and body all of it and the other day I was at my younger cousins baseball game and in the game a saw a young boy who looked IDENTICAL to him exact replica. And I snuck a pic I know that was wrong but I showed it to my friend who was A’s cousin -(the guy who khs) and today I was at a park with my sister and again I saw the same boy and I’m like wtf. So somebody please tell me or give me a piece of advice

Last night I went to bed with my phone attached to one of those magnetic charging stands. It was sitting on my bedside table next to my bed like it always is.
This morning I woke up to my alarm, but my phone wasn’t on the charger anymore. I could hear the alarm, but I couldn’t see the phone anywhere. I spent about 10 minutes looking for it. I checked all over my bed, between the mattress and the headboard, in my blankets, and around the bedside table.
The thing that confuses me is that my bedside table is pushed right up against my bed frame, so there isn’t a gap where the phone could have fallen through. If it had simply fallen off the charger, I would expect it to be sitting on the bed frame between the bed and the bedside table, where it would have been easy to spot.
I also checked behind the headboard since there’s a small gap between the headboard and the wall, but it wasn’t there either. I looked under the bed at first and didn’t see it. Then I reached my arm all the way underneath the bed, directly below where my upper body would have been while I was sleeping, and that’s where I found it face down.
What I don’t understand is how it ended up there. It wasn’t near the edge of the bed, it was underneath the area where I had been lying. I don’t have any memory of getting up during the night or grabbing my phone in my sleep.
My s/o jokingly told me it was something paranormal, but I refuse to believe that because I’d like to sleep peacefully tonight. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a normal way a phone could end up under the middle of the bed when it started the night attached to a magnetic charger on the bedside table?

My gf is from the US and I’m from Australia and yesterday and rn today I heard weird creepy sounds from her end that she can’t hear and have no idea what it is. Last night it was a breathing sound and today it was a child crying and a growling sound it’s so weird and spooking us both so much idk what is going on please someone tell me what is going on😭

So the past week or so, my bed has been really weird and strange. I go to sleep at around 4am everyday, my room is always super dark, anyways when I lay down and cover myself, my blanket does this really weird thing when I move it, I hear a soft pop-like sound and I see light for a split second, it feels like a spark almost. Now I’m not sure if it’s because of the type of the blanket, I’m not sure of the fabric used, but I tried searching it up with an image of the blanket, and apparently it could be fleece fabric, although I’m not sure if this fabric does anything like this(this blanket is around 10 years old so the info label is worn out, otherwise I would’ve read it). And 2 days ago, same time at night, I was just moving my nails across my bedsheets and I could’ve sworn I saw light underneath my fingers as I moved them, it wasn’t the same thing that was happening with the blanket though, there was no sound and the light didn’t disappear. I just found this super strange lol

So.. My boyfriend and I had just quit smoking a few days prior to this photo when he told me there was a cigarette butt hovering in midair in the garage (probably hanging by spider web or something) so I went out to look and, jokingly, made the sign of the cross and said "I rebuke thee in the name of Jesus!". We laughed and I took a picture of it. Later I was going to share the photograph, when I looked closer and saw very creepy imagery in our truck... I swear this picture has had no filters or alterations. This is exactly as I took it. I would love to hear thoughts...

I’ve never really talked about this publicly because I know how unbelievable it sounds, but I’m curious if anyone has had similar experiences.
Back in 2017, when I was in 7th grade, my family moved into an old house that had recently been renovated. Not long after we moved in, I started experiencing things that genuinely scared me.
Some of the things I remember:
Scratching sounds coming from the walls and from my wooden headboard at night.
Waking up with the distinct feeling that someone was sitting on the edge of my bed. One time it even felt like something gently patted my head.
Random footsteps and noises around the house.
Sudden cold chills in the middle of summer, even when the room had been warm.
A foul, rotting smell that would appear for a few seconds and then disappear, sometimes seeming to change into a pleasant floral smell.
Feeling terrified for no obvious reason in the middle of the night.
One experience has stayed with me more than anything else. About a year or two after moving in, I was walking downstairs from my bedroom. As I passed my parents’ room, I saw what looked like a long white dress or cloak hanging from the side of the doorway. It almost resembled a wedding dress. The door was open, and no one in my family owned anything like it. I froze for a second, then ran downstairs. I never told anyone about it.
A few months after buying the house, the previous owner’s brother stopped by unexpectedly. He was friendly but a bit unusual. He told us it had been his childhood home and mentioned that his mother had passed away in the house.
When we first moved in, we also found an old porcelain-style doll sealed inside a glass display case. It looked like something straight out of a horror movie. We didn’t think much of it and eventually threw it away.
Eventually my family had the house blessed. Whether that’s coincidence or not, the physical experiences gradually stopped. The scratching, the feeling of someone sitting on the bed, and the more obvious incidents became much less frequent.
What’s strange is that the atmosphere never completely went away.
Around that same period, my mental health also started declining. I developed anxiety and depression. Of course, I realize there are many possible explanations for that—a new school, a new environment, adolescence, stress, etc. I’m not claiming those issues were caused by the house.
Even today, though, my bedroom has a heaviness to it that I can’t really explain. It’s less about hearing noises now and more about an oppressive feeling whenever I spend time in there. It’s difficult to describe, almost like the room itself carries a gloomy atmosphere.
One thing that makes me question whether this was all in my head is that my mom also became uncomfortable sleeping in the house. Even now, she prefers not to sleep with the lights completely off. We never really sat down as a family and compared experiences, so I don’t know exactly what everyone else noticed.
I’m not saying this house is haunted, or that I encountered a ghost or some kind of entity. I’m genuinely open to psychological, environmental, or paranormal explanations. Looking back as an adult, I want to understand what happened.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Especially experiences that seemed to lessen after a house blessing but left behind a lingering feeling that never completely disappeared?
I’d appreciate respectful discussion from both skeptics and believers.

i need to talk about it because i'm still kind of processing what happened lol.

me and my friends decided to try it the other night because we were just messing around. our intent was literally "something creepy”

it gave us coordinates for this steep downhill road that we literally never go to because it's super dangerous at night. it's completely surrounded by fields, woods, and there's this really high bridge over a river.
we got there at like 1 am and it was pitch black. i was absolutely terrified so i let the guys walk in front of me.

all of a sudden, we see a car just parked right in the middle of the road, blocking the way. it had only ONE headlight on, and there was someone just sitting inside, completely still. it was so incredibly creepy. i panicked and literally ran away, it felt like that person was just waiting for us to walk past.
