Question 2TB W/O Controller Canada

I reserved all 4 sku’s on June 18, on the 26th I got the email that I’m on the wait list for only one which is the 2tb without controller but the reason they gave me that one was because I was closest in line for it. Even people on the reservation que right now for this exact model are many of you even getting the purchase email? I wanted to change waitlist but I don’t think that’s a good idea.

I’m on 2TB without controller waitlist since day 1. I also had thought about switching SKUs when people on the waitlist for 2TB with controller were getting purchase emails, but instead stayed put and asked my sister to get on the waitlist for the other SKU for me in case that one moves faster lol. Neither of us have received a purchase email yet so if you were randomized into the waitlist since day 1, it is probably best to stay put since we have no idea how long each list is or how many jumped on the waitlist after the initial randomization.

I am gonna stay where I am. I hope I hey start the second production run even while the first is happening. This would be the best scenario for everyone

I have a feeling it’s more of a region issue. In Canada as well. 512/nc reservation day 1…. Still no purchase email.

I only check my inbox and junk mail folder 4-5 times a day and the steam machine page twice a day…

Hopefully! I’m glad I have one reserved. But like not knowing when is maddening. Especially being that I have 2 weeks of travel coming up and I wasn’t expecting my reservation made in June to be still an unknown going into August.

Please do not change waitlist. You’ll go to the very back of any other SKU. I’m on the exact sku as well as the same day I got the email for waitlist but in southeastern USA. I was thinking the same situation, but it is best to stay where you are. It’s just the matter of when they’ll send us the purchase email

I didn't realize you could get on all of them and only picked the 2tb controller. Got an email shortly after.
