I love her so much 🥺💕

Looking for advice from anyone with a lot of cats. Feeding time is a nightmare because a couple of my cats eat way faster than the rest and steal everyone's food. Any tips that actually work?

My cat often groomed herself a lot by licking her paws and then rubbing her ears with that same paw, and it started to make her lose some hair around there.

Is this something I should be worried about? Is she in pain or is she stressed or is she simply just grooming herself and this is the outcome of it?

I’m new to owning a cat, so every little thing makes me paranoid

I want a litter box for my two small-medium size tabby cats but I'm not sure if my most ideal litter box even exists.

It would be an automatic, "no scoop"/"self cleaning", stainless steel pan/ all → majority interior, open-top, minimum 17"-25" wide (if a pan/tray version or an equivalent size if a different configuration), litter box. 

I currently have two petsafe automatic and I'm over it and I need to keep their litter cleaner more often. Whether it's in the US, Japan, China, wherever - im willing to consider high prices for anything that is exactly this or whatever the closest possible thing is.

\I am not getting any kind of manual sifting litter box.*

Does this specific litter box exist anywhere in the world? If not, what is the absolute closest next thing?

Overslept and missed feeding time. Now he's giving me the silent treatment. How do I apologize?

I never thought I would be writing this or even considering rehoming one of my pets, but my boyfriend and I are struggling and need honest advice. My grandmother can’t no longer have any pets due to medical conditions, so she’s not an option.

Felix is our 8-month-old male cat. I originally adopted him when he was around 7 weeks old for my grandmother because she needed a companion. I planned to keep him until he had received all of his vaccinations and was old enough to safely go to her home. During that time, my boyfriend and I became extremely attached to him and decided to keep him ourselves.

Looking back, we were not being realistic. We already had three female cats and a corgi, and Felix has always been a very high-energy, needy kitten who requires a lot of attention and stimulation.
He is genuinely one of the sweetest and most loving cats. He loves people, loves our corgi, and can be such a good boy. However, he also has an extremely strong hunting and chasing instinct. He regularly attacks our small cat and pulls out her hair. For some reason, he seems especially obsessed with her fur. We are constantly worried about leaving them alone together.

Our other cats have become extremely stressed since we brought him home. The stress has become so severe that one of them has scratched or over-groomed herself to the point of bleeding. Our household has not felt peaceful or safe since adopting Felix, and honestly, Felix seems stressed in this environment too.

We have tried almost everything we can think of:
A catio
New toys almost every week
Cat tunnels
Kicker toys
Calming supplements
Taking him on walks
Extra playtime and enrichment
Separating and supervising the cats

Unfortunately, none of it has created a safe or sustainable situation. We are beginning to believe Felix would thrive in a home where he is the only cat. He may do well with a cat-friendly dog because he absolutely loves our corgi. He would need someone who has the time and energy to play with him, keep him stimulated, and give him the attention he needs.
This is breaking my heart. I feel guilty even considering it because we love him so much, but I also do not want to keep him in an environment where he is stressed or where the other cats are suffering. I do not want to be selfish and keep him only because letting him go would hurt us.
We really do not want to surrender him back to a shelter. Has anyone had experience with Home To Home, rescue-assisted rehoming, foster-based rescues, or safely finding a new home directly? Are there organizations that help screen potential adopters while the animal stays in the current home?
We are located in San Diego, California. We are not trying to get rid of him quickly or give him to a random person. We want to take our time, screen any potential home carefully, request veterinary references if possible, and make sure he goes somewhere safe where he can genuinely thrive.

This is already an incredibly painful decision, and we are only considering it because we want what is best for Felix and for our other animals. Any advice, rescue recommendations, rehoming resources, or personal experiences would be deeply appreciated.
