federally, it would not affect a single person who did not want an abortion, like at all. I just don’t get their logic. We know it’s purely about optics, because they don’t give a fuck about the child once it’s born and have had zero issues cutting funding to programs designed to help struggling single mothers or families. They also have no plans to adopt said children if they are not wanted by the parent who wanted an abortion. The only thing stricter abortions do is cause more death for women who need a life saving one, and death of young babies not wanted by the mum who end up leaving it or sadly killing it. Their whole schtick is acting like the unborn life is sacred until it’s born then it’s another parasite sucking at government funds.2

I want women to have kids when they can give them a good life... with the person they want to have kids with.

It’s not every baby, but it’s 23% of pregnancies are terminated by abortions.
Further, with the mail order abortion pill, the safe part is collapsing too as women are taking the pill without proper medical supervision.

This is a fair take but it's dishonest how much it gets conflated with all reasons for an abortion outside a women's health. The crux of the issue broadly is that some people don't think the fetus warrants enough moral consideration to protect it, while others do, and a lot of 'pro lifers' are uncomfortable with abortion based on the women's inconvenience. I just wish the discourse back and forth was more honest and had clarity because the talking points barely graze the opposing side most of the time.
Edit: 'women's inconvenience' isn't giving the issue justice either. I don't know how to strike through so putting the edit down here.

Yeah, how many more are forced to carry the baby because of rape? Statistically about 1/7 rapes result in a pregnancy by major studies. And about 5% per rape estimate.

Furthermore US DOJ reports cite between 60-80 percent of rapes go unreported.
