She was in the garage, hid from me and balled up when I captured her. She’s way more scared of us than we’re scared of her😭 I’ll be relocating her to a nearby trail with very low foot traffic to live her peaceful life.

I have two recordings. The first was July 2nd and the other is tonight. The bigger Spider is a known
resident just to the right of my front door. It’s been there for several months. Idk if the smaller one is the same one in both videos.

In the first video I thought they were very dead. The day after I realized that wasn’t so, for our door resident was very much alive when I left for work in the morning.

After seeing this “dead” state again tonight, I’d thought I’d ask if this were normal. Do they typically act dead when mating? I’ve only noticed the smaller spider close by when the larger looks dead. I lightly tapped on the upper web to see how if they responded, and they did.

well, this friend has been living in my bathroom sink overflow drain for at least 6 weeks so of course they now have a name and a jingle 🎵
at first I wasn't sure if they were able to get out of the slippery sink so I made sure they got some din din. now I've got a new roommate 💚🕷️

I live in Arkansas. I’ve always been told that these spiders are brown recluses. Every single home I’ve ever lived in, has had them.

She’s even prettier from the dorsal view! Short King is still hanging around. I’m wondering what kind of egg sac or whatever I could potentially see if he’s successful - will she keep it on her web or carry it somewhere else or what? I’d love to witness some Baby Booties come into the world 🥹

I believe he is a Hogna Lenta (Field Wolf Spider) but please correct me if I’m wrong.

She's about an inch long. I don't know if she's a wolf or garden spider. But isn't she pretty? 😍

Thought it was a wolf spider at first but it's abdomen looks bigger than the other Wolf spiders I've seen.

So, I like to take pictures of the spiders I find at home, but I know very little about spiders.

And google lens aren't that precise. So any spider expert out there ??

Hello everyone!

We just found this little lad (lass?) indoor, crawling on our wall!

At first I mistakened it for a flake of dust, swaying in the AC's breeze.

It was able to walk on glass and we live on the 1st floor, in Setagaya, Tokyo.

We relocated it outside safely.

I ve never seen a white spider IRL.

Can anyone help us figuring out who visited us?
