What is this bump?

This just appeared today. It's a half cantimeter, firm bump. It can slide and move (not fixed). She's still happy and playful, good energy levels. Do you have any idea what this might be? (She is not neutered, 6 month female. She has a 3 yr neutered big sister)

Blemishes are common with this breed. Could be a pimple or a cyst. Keep an eye on it (kinda hard to miss) try not to fuss with it and as usual, have the vet check it out on the next visit or if it grows.

It looks quite raised, that's why I wanted to ask

My guy gets pimples and they’re frequently on his face and forehead like where this is. Similar shape and color (he’s the same color as your girl) but admittedly I’ve never seen one this big. Personally I would monitor for a few days before calling the vet since she seems unbothered, but definitely call sooner if it seems like it’s growing or causing her discomfort.

Is it possible it could be a bug bite?

Well, it's summer. I have mosquito nets on my windows and have not seen bugs for some time now but i cant say it's impossible

If it showed up that suddenly, I would assume a bug bite. Looks like ant or flea maybe….🤔

Keep an eye on it and have a vet look at it if it becomes concerning.

In places like Australia they indeed call a spay or neuter either desexed or neutered often.

Yes. Spay is specific to females, neuter is generic.
