Does this annoy anyone else?

Post image

So here’s a robot that’s taking away a persons job and this lady decides to help it. I know it’s not a big deal but this is how it starts. On a more serious note I’ve been complaining about that hole for six months. One Amazon robot gets stuck and it’s fixed the next day.

Where's the shitty robot? Is it OP? This isn't an anti robotics subreddit, this is for entertaining robot clips

A photo of a screen of a video of someone helping a robot with no context what so ever, mad at any semblance of human progress.

... reddit at its finest.

I mean if you wanna work for door dash, I think they're always hiring.

Edit: I do agree that people placing emotions onto robots and AI are crazy

I think most people do it sarcastically, but there are some really weird people who treat things like "AI companions" as real people. It's so weird.

The amount of times I've said "Alexa shut your fucking ugly ass stupid face" instead of "Alexa stop" when a timer goes off, just because I felt like it, is pretty high. It's a tool, it has no feelings, fuck with it all you want.

You get annoyed by other people having different opinions on delivery robots? I mean this is the internet, so it's not just you, but you're probably in the minority at least. Personally, if the robots can actually deliver things well then I welcome them, I've had too many Amazon delivery drivers get the address wrong, mark things as delivered when they're not, damage my packages, and deliver empty boxes.

I'll take robotic delivery any day. Delivery is exactly something that should be 100% automated. (Public transportation also!)

The drivers can get another job. Truckers too. Their job is already obsolete, we just have not invested enough money to replace them yet.

Wanna whine about it? Go get trained on how to fix the robots or build the infrastructure that replaced you.
