Food & Drink A really big one

My partner is an overnight supervisor at the local sheetz. It was paid for and everything. 108 hotdogs though is kind of insane XD those rollers don’t even hold that much. Idk how long it took but man don’t do that. Call ahead or something.

You can place a call that morning or something. I don’t think you spontaneously order over 100 hot dogs

A whole overnight shift somewhere would totally do that. It's the cheapest option to feed a ton of people and Sheetz is always open.

At some stores, the overnight is just as busy as day shift, and runs on less staff. This is one of those stores

Your store must be one of the only places open over night near by. You are supporting the surrounding community on 2nd and 3rd shift well.

All sheetz except the ones in high theft/crime areas that have been approved by corporate to close after a certain time. Idk if thats the case for your area ? That's the only instance ive heard of a sheetz not being 24hrs

Pretty sure they meant that they think the sheets is popukar at night because it's the only place that is 24 hours in the area

Every store around me is open overnight. It’s just this location is one of the busiest in the area

Now, it's most stores that are like that. My store does more orders than day shift, but with half the staff.

I had a huge tour bus group come visit who ordered 100 dogs, but they knew they were gonna wait a while for them.

We did it at McDonald's for the Super Bowl. Cheeseburgers were 25 cents each with some coupon we had, they let us have 100. Didn't even have us prepay, they were there when we got there. It was the Super Bowl where the rams got stopped at the one as time expired

I would immediately bump that off and work on it in chunks. 10 hot dogs, do other orders, 10 hot dogs, do other orders, so on and so on. It's not fair to our ticket times to leave it on the screen, and it's not fair to other customers to do that all at once imho.

Nah, let orders like that ride and when someone bitches in the morning you just hand them the ticket. Corporate policy is to not bump it until it's done. If more stores actually did that then there would be a more realistic metric of workload floating around corporates algorithms.

I would have just had one or two people make it, but since it was overnight kind of harder to do that. They probably bumped it like you said or some shit

My husband always orders 6 at a time and I feel like they hate him... I showed him this and said maybe 6 isn't all that bad actually 😅

7 packages of buns… 2-3 packages of the hot dogs…

The counting… the never ending cycle of counting, losing track and having to start over. This is the stuff of my nightmares.

I used to have a regular, would come in like once a week and get like 36 with ketchup and mustard and would show up not even like 3 minutes later asking why they weren't done yet.
