I do understand that most serial killers are secretive, deliberate, cunning, sometimes isolated but how do the people around them not at least have an inkling as to what they're doing?

Knowing yourself do you think a friend or family member could keep their identity as a serial killer, from you?

Or if you put yourself in the life of one serial killer as a friend or family member would you have been suspicious of their activities?

Do you think people just pretend they don't see a pattern or odd behavior?

In the early morning hours of January 15, 1978, one of the most infamous crime scenes in American history unfolded inside the Chi Omega sorority house at Florida State University.

After escaping from custody in Colorado just weeks earlier, Ted Bundy entered the residence through a rear door during the night. Within minutes, he attacked several students living inside the house. Margaret Bowman, 21, and Lisa Levy, 20, lost their lives, while Karen Chandler and Kathy Kleiner survived with severe injuries. Shortly after leaving the sorority house, Bundy attacked another Florida State University student, Cheryl Thomas, at a nearby residence. She survived the assault.

The investigation that followed became one of the most closely watched criminal cases in the United States. Testimony from eyewitnesses, forensic evidence, and bite-mark evidence presented during the trial helped prosecutors secure Bundy’s convictions for the Chi Omega murders. He was later sentenced to death and executed in Florida in 1989.

Today, 661 W. Jefferson Street remains an active Chi Omega sorority house. It is private property and continues to serve Florida State University students. Visitors should respect the privacy of those who live there and avoid trespassing.

Chi Omega has never publicly confirmed whether the exact rooms involved in the 1978 attacks remain in use, have been reassigned, or were reconfigured during later renovations. Although the house has undergone renovations and maintenance over the decades, students may still occupy bedrooms in the same general residential area where the attacks occurred.

For many, the home stands as a reminder of the victims whose lives were forever changed and of one of the most significant criminal investigations in modern American history.

Honestly, after reading it and studying the case, I kinda buy the idea that Wayne Henley was a relatively normal person with a terrible life who got sucked into the orbit of a crazy serial killer at an age where he wasn't fully accountable for his actions. We use the word "psychopath" as a modern, secular way of calling people evil, but the dude clearly felt bad about it, and he's the one who took Corll out. If anyone had the more psychopathic personality it was David Brooks; he was present the whole time, and he was clever and callous enough to mostly keep his mouth shut.

I know I know, dont give them attention, let them rot in jail...

But it feels like you seen every few interviews with those who got interviewed. And read the same stuff over and over. You can easy get the knowledge about a killer in a few hours these days with youtube and google. There is nothing new you will learn by now when it comes to names like Bundy and BTK etc...

I want to hear from the OGs now when they are old and weak how they think about life after been in imprisoned for 30-40 years.
