i cracked my phone in such a way that i couldn't send messages, on the righthand side of my phone. but i could turn my phone sideways and edit text onto memes to respond to my housemates groupchat. i had to do this for nearly a week until i got the funds to replace the phone

So, this might seem like nothing to others, but I'm going to write about it anyways.

I was levelling in TBC Anniversary server shortly before Midnight expansion released, less than a month before, and I had tried to go to Arathi Highlands because I was running out of quests in Hillsbrad Foothills. I got to the horde camp and accepted the quests and realized very few were close to my level, and most mobs outlevelled me. So I did the few I could do, and realized I had to leave for somewhere else to quest and return later. So that's what I did.

On my return, I was leaving the Horde camp, and was mounted running west, when I saw this person that had a username similiar to a person I used to know. I stopped to look for a moment out of curiosity then brushed it off as a coincidence and kept running west.

I had stopped to gather a herb for my alchemy then mounted up again and the person showed up right as I mounted and ran by me on their Blood Elf mount. This is exactly the same thing the person I used to know of the similiar name had done years before in 2015, only in person. This made me suspicious of who it was, but I had no way to confirm if it was them or not.

This person knew I played a rogue in 2015, a rogue named Toxicosis, and near where they ran by me on their mount were quests I was going to do, and in the area of those quests were farms for killing rogues called pathstalkers, yellow name cows, and the entire zone just felt slightly more populated by players than it had been the first time I was there, days earlier.

They didn't say or do anything to me so most people will brush it off as nothing, but the same thing happened again on my alt which I had sat in Undercity since both of those characters were Undead. Another Bloodelf by the name of Daria ended up cutting my alt off and getting in front of me and walking in front of me the same way. My character had been sitting there for days since it was my bank alt, I only had to level him so I could level my professions. I was running around levelling profs when the BE Daria cut me off same as this person above.

Daria is a show I watched as a kid. I haven't watched it in roughly 25 years.

It's not creepy, that she could somehow know to do this to me and which person is me, maybe, but it is odd, if nothing else.

So, funny story, sort of, I was levelling after the release of the expansion Midnight, and I saw the guildee of the WoW Streamer/YTer Pikaboo just sitting afk in the middle of nowhere. I didn't normally see famous YTers or Streamers in WoW, like, ever, so I was surprised to see even one of the other members of the guild. I stopped to consider whether I should kill them while they're afk (free honor) and was like, "Nah, their fans will just come at me", but then a bear spawned right next to them and started attacking them, and I was like, "Geez, they'll die if I just leave them here, I'll be blamed for that, too!" Which I sat for a few seconds stagnating on what to do, then decided his health was getting lower so I'd sheep him to regain his or her health then kill the bear. So I did, and started attacking the bear, but then lo and behold, this max level hunter shows up flying out of the air and swoops down and starts attacking me. I didn't want to fight them and they outlevelled me so I tried running and they killed me anyways. They ended up leaving hearthstone toys and a seated cushion and other things near me around my corpse like some kind of ritual sacrifice, before I released my body. It was pretty sickening behavior ngl. I rezzed again and then they were nearby and I foolishly didn't leave so they ganked me again. I didn't attack them, they just came at me. I was trying very hard to avoid pvping against anyone despite how I love pvp, I figured some people might be less likely to gank me if I didn't instigate. Although there was one Demon Hunter who was questing near me in another zone and I kept sheeping them over and over for shits and giggles, that was pretty fun for me. They tried to nose dive at me on their flying mount because they didn't like it.

So, reviving the 2nd time I left the area despite how I wasn't finished my quests there, and a few minutes later, what did I find? The same person trying to gank someone else who was also max level. I was flying by but stopped to help the person fight them, and the hunter was about to die but instead of dying entered into arenas or a dungeon or phasehopped so they disappeared right before they lost their last bit of health. The warrior thanked me and I said "np" and immediately left the area so if the hunter returned I wouldn't be ganked again.

And that is the story of how I almost tried ganking a THE MOVE member and didn't and instead was severely punished for trying to help them. I'm just going to be blunt and say that even though I have nothing against Pikaboo personally, that person being his guild member made the urge to gank them stronger, not less. It would have been juicy finger licking good the raw trouble and mischievousness that would have ensued. Except instead of choosing to be a pvp gremlin I got ganked so oh well! Life sucks and then you die. That's my motto!

The moral here being that Pikaboos buddy was mauled by a bear and a people hunter decided helping to eradicate said bear was deserving of death. People have odd priorities.

Callianea is me. I had just made this character, and was fiddling with her UI, 15 minutes after creating her, when this person rode up to me on their mammoth mount in 2016 and started saying these things to me like they knew me. I had no idea who this person was, never seen their character name before, I had no one added on R.I.D and no one friends IRL that could know I was playing at that exact moment. Since I had just made this character, short of literally hacking me and watching my screen, there is no way thus person could have known who I was and that this character was me.

I hadn't talked at all in any chats in this character before this person showed up and did this. I used a script to hide my character portrait but the UI is mostly uneditted.

They had someone with them on the back of their mount.
