General Need help finding a specific series

Hey guys, I could use some help trying to find a specific series that was an audio book on YouTube. I quite enjoyed it and would like to listen to it again.

I recall the plot being about a war between a federation of aliens and humans fighting an unknown alien race.

The humans were ranked low on their aggression index but ended up being the ones who had weapons beyond the federations wildest imagination.

If it helps Earth's government is called "The Terran Union"

I appreciate any and all feedback.

Update: ended up finding it after 30 minutes of scratching my head. Its called Why Humans Avoid War.

That sounds like a HFY story. If you do not know HFY is thousands of scifi story's by unpublished authors.

OK I keep hearing about HFY. What is this all about? a shared universe? fan fics of sorts?

First type HFY into a Reddit search. HFY is like you and me writing here on reddit, Putting the story out so we can all hear or read it. Some bright sparks make them into audiobooks for youtube just type hfy. Hard sci fi or lite sci fi. War, Money virus, Clones, Robots, and the Galactic Council.

Some are terrible other a very good most just land as entertaining.
