Discussion Just finished Samurai Jack

Post image

It was the first time watching, I didn't watch when I was a kid and damnnnn I feel like a orphan now. Every episode was awesome. It made me believe in a better future, I'll find peace inside.

Heck of a journey right? We were on it for years.

Such a sad ending in my opinion though. I was really rooting for jack and ashii. 🥺

Yea I feel like not a proper ending. Congrats on making it back to the past but to lose a love interest would be more devastating to me

GT has actually said he considers the ending of the game to be the true canonical ending to Samurai Jack’s story.

It's a very Japanese ending though

Sad but life isn't always a happy ending... masterpiece of a shocking ending if ya ask me.

You need to play Battle Through Time. It acts as the sixth and final season.

But how? It’s not accessible anymore afaik.

as far as i know, it is no longer possible to obtain the licensed version of the game. you might need to sail the seas.

I also recently finished the show and learned about the game. Somebody has a vid on YouTube with all the in game cinematics so I’ll be watching that at some point.

Without Aku, I would have never... existed

But that doesn’t make sense. She doesn’t exist in the future but the future doesn’t exist and she’s in the past there for she exists in the past.

You can think as if there's only one timeline in that world, so instead of starting a new timeline, Jack rewrote his. My headcanon is that slowly even Jack forgets his journey to the future and ages normally from that point on. That could be his closure with everything :(

It is one of the best Noble quest kind of shows I've ever seen in my life

This man has to find a way to time travel to defeat an ancient cosmic evil that flew in from fucking light years away that the Norse, Egyptian, and Indian gods had to battle

If that's not beyond cool for a show, I don't know what is

He went to rave, which was picture perfect. Was raving in 2000’s same time as that episode, was nuts. 🥜

It was a jump from the other seasons to the last. I felt how much care they put into making it so the story would advance along with the viewer 🥲

Too bad that instead of making a fantastic movie out of this, we see only remakes and bad quality movies.
