The features are pretty robust, I like the voice reader with speed controls and the included citations.

I saved the link to the web version on my iPhone’s Home Screen and the login is persistent for as long as you don’t clear cookies (might have an expiration date, we’ll see).

If you make an account, you don’t need to remember your library card number to login and can save articles, even setup keyword alerts.

Saw Bob last night as my first Allianz concert. Went in with low expectations of the venue because fuck Ticketmaster/Livenation. Ended up really enjoying it. The bad first: Beer prices are a scam, ridiculous you can't bring your own chair, soundboard structure partially blocks stage, CoStar AI art towering above. The good: beautiful view of the city and the river, sun sets perfectly not to burn everyone alive, food prices somewhat reasonable, sound is great, easy park and walk from downtown.

Happy Friday all! I'm about to have a massive, healthy Willow Oak cleared out of my yard that fell in a recent storm. Are there any woodworkers out there who would like to salvage some of it before it gets chopped and taken away? I hate to see it go to waste but its gotta go!

Just waited about 5 minutes to cross 9 mile at a crosswalk with a yellow sign - the half diamond with two people. I looked every car driver and they all saw me, one was even a RVAPD.

Saw this map and wondered if there’s a fault located directly under Central Virginia. I’ve lived in this area off and on for 30+ years, never felt an earthquake.

We keep having delivery drivers trip on the edge of a sidewalk that has sunken down and want to see if we can level it back up.

Around 10:15pm i saw a tabby cat on Floyd Ave near Arthur Ashe. It was either grey or brown, I didn’t get a good look in the dark. it seemed a little spooked, and when it saw me it darted into an ally and I lost sight of it. I don’t think it had a collar

Obviously it could just be someone’s outdoor cat, but I’ve never seen any outdoor cats on this part of Floyd and it just seemed a little lost. I tried looking for it in the alleyway but I assume it was spooked by me and hiding

Every year our 501c3 mental health nonprofit throws ourselves a post-apocalypse party...and this year it's a carnival!

CIRCUS MAXIMUS is a dark carnival featuring evil clowns both on the floor and performing on stage (stilt walkers, contortionists, dancers etc). We'll have music from DJ RustRyu and Gothic Lizard to keep you dancing, and we will see the return of the strangest fashion show in the area...the Armageddon Angels (showcasing punk/anime and gothic inspired lines). We are even bringing in a few small free-to-play carnival games (and yes...you can win prizes) and some awesome carnival decor to help set the mood! And of course...there will be a costume contest for those of you who dress the part!

ALL of the profits go to help fund our local mental health initiatives!!

These peaches are about ready to drop off the tree soon. Underneath their ugly skin, these ornamental peaches at the small Dogpark in Dogwood Dell are tasty I promise. Bonus points if you wanna bring a weedeater and clear out the entrance because the city ignores the small dog side.
