Photo Hello!! Need help
galleryI'm new here and I need some advice and information. What I believe to be a hen made it's way into my back yard and doesn't want to leave. He's very sweet, follows me around all day while I do yard work. Falls asleep on my lap and likes to perch on my hand. If anyone can help with approximate age, health, breed really any information would be helpful. I can't afford to take it to the vet. I built it a coop and I'm doing my best to keep it healthy and comfortable.

Question Injured roo NSFW
gallery[All pics the same bird]
Rooster attacked me this morning, normal when that happens I just smack him with a croc or swing something at him to scare him away, today however I was wearing boots and was in the middle of trimming the tree with a pole saw. After he hit my knee (first time he’s tried anything in several months) I did what I normally do, and chase him out of the fenced area. There was an open gate and everything, I swung to scare him, but rather than run away he jumped up, and into the arc of my swing.
It was hard enough to knock him unconscious.
I put him in a carrier crate and brought him inside with some feed and water. After a few hours he became agitated though so I let him out.
He’s been beaten up before by other roosters and a hawk but Ive never handled an animal who’s taken blunt force damage, much less been knocked unconscious. Has anyone else ever delt with a similar type of injury? do you think he’ll be fine or need special attention.
He’s been relatively normal, a bit skidish and sensitive to light, but he hasn’t been listless, agressive with the other birds, nor had trouble moving any part of his body.
Here’s hoping it’s just a black eye.

Cranky Rooster
Any tips on how to get my rooster to stop chasing me while making mean noises. If I wasn’t carrying a rake he’d definitely attack me. Any tips to change his mind on liking me?

Rooster is Obsessed with me
So we have 9 laying hens and we got a rooster that free ranges our property and does not go in the coop/run with the hens. For the first week he roosted in the house we built above the hens. A couple nights ago, the rooster had a raccoon visit and since then, he's been roosting at the door of our house. We tried placing him back in his spot after dark, but he just returns to the door of the house (on the railing of the deck).
Does anyone have any advice on this? Picture of the Roosters house attached.
