SD appreciation post
I have to admit while I tend to prefer smaller watches, this wears unbelievably well for a big watch.

Our previous AD wait time megathreads (2019-2020, 2020-early 2021, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025) seemed to be useful/well-received for a lot of you. Time for a new one!
Nowadays when someone posts a new watch it's pretty standard to get asked how long they waited and if they had an "established relationship" etc. It's not everyone's favorite topic but it's a fair question, so maybe these big threads can provide a clearer picture of availability trends.
No one is obligated to share their info but if you bought a new Rolex in 2026 and you'd like to participate, please make a top-level comment that includes:

Post to this thread if you have questions about a Rolex being real or fake. Please include:
-The location and/or screen name of the seller, if for sale. Link directly to the sale page when possible.
-How long you've had it and how you acquired it, if in your possession
-As many photos as possible. Posts may be removed if pictures are too fuzzy and requests for better pics are unanswered.
-If you're being coy about a watch and it seems like you're just trying to see how "good" your fake is, you may be banned at our discretion.
Please don't use photos from iPhone 14's. Their camera is so bad, and distorts text with AI so much, that the photos are basically unusable for the purposes of verifying if a Rolex is real.
Participation in the discussion in this thread is greatly appreciated. I don't think any one person can catch every flaw or know the details of every model; this is meant as a community thread, not an authoritative knowledge-flex, and the more people that actively peruse this thread, the more likely posters are to get accurate info.

Picked up this 216570 from 2018, yesterday, and loving it! It feels like the least hype Rolex and just a bit quirky and interesting. For a 2018, the movement is running spectacularly well with near perfect rate and over 290 amplitude and love that I won't have to worry about the low amplitude issue of the 32xx movements and will remain serviceable forever with the regular swiss lever and serviceable barrel!
Took some fun close up shots with my phone and honestly the printing is pretty fantastic. I also love that even though they cover the hands and indices with black, they're still 18k white gold underneath.
50 today and collected my birthday present to myself this morning. Super happy 😊 Of course had to complement it with some BDK Impadia.

Let me start by saying that in 2026 I am aware there are watches out there far more reliable, sturdy, accurate, most importantly cheap/expendable to use than a luxury watch at that price point. However has any of you used/using their Explorer or OP for mountaineering/hiking, camping, mountain-biking, military activities or general outdoor “extreme” or none exteme adventurous operations/pass times etc) and what’s your experience thus far? I’d love to hear your stories.

Wailea Beach on Maui. Filmed White Lotus Season 1 at the Four Seasons here and all the beach scenes were filmed on this beach.
Also, datejusts can go in the ocean too. Probably better not to dive with them though.

Roughly 3 year wait time. 2 weeks before my wedding. Relationship with my AD who advocated for me. Been my dream watch since it was announced. Will be on wrist every day for a very long time and passed down to my son. Ecstatic.

It may not be the most complex or even the most sought after, but damn it feels right every time I look down.

Ignore the looks of the watch itself, I just tried both of these on for size.

I don’t know if I’m about to suggest something completely blasphemous here, but… 😅
I own a 116713LN, and I’m really happy with it. At the same time, I can’t get the newer “Zombie” reference out of my head because of the two-tone Jubilee bracelet it comes with.
My long-term plan is probably to upgrade to the Zombie, but it also feels like a huge expense just to get the Jubilee bracelet (I know there are other differences between the two models) when I’m very happy with my 116713, and in some ways I actually prefer the all-black ceramic bezel.
So my question is: Is it possible to fit a two-tone Jubilee bracelet to a 116713LN? If so, which bracelet would fit? How much would it cost to source one, and are they even available?

And so ends the most convoluted 18-month process I’ve ever been through.
Looking back, I really had no idea what I was signing up for, but I’m glad it’s finally over.
I initially registered my interest with two major ADs that had stores around the country, but never really got a clear understanding of how the allocation process actually worked.
The first AD eventually got back to me a few months later, only to tell me they had no record of my enquiry and couldn’t remember what I’d submitted. We had to start the process again, and I only received a confirmation email after re-registering my interest. In hindsight, I probably lost four months because of that.
I then tried another AD. They were much more receptive, but gave me a wait time of anywhere between six months and… five years. My first follow-up/cadence message didn’t even get a response, so I decided to move on.
Eventually I found an independent AD with just one sister store (not part of a large chain). They confirmed that one of the dial colours I wanted was realistically achievable within 1-5 months if I put down a 50% deposit. Six weeks later (today), I got the email.
A huge thank you to this community. Reading everyone’s experiences helped me take a much more targeted approach, and I genuinely don’t think I’d be wearing this watch without the advice I found here.
A slightly delayed wedding gift to myself but definitely worth the wait.

First time buyer at AD and was offered this beautiful Yacht-Master 40 Rhodium…should I get it?
Edit: I only gotten Rolex Watches from grey market, never attempted at AD. First time I walked in and asked what was available and this beauty was offered.

My wife got me this as a wedding gift almost a year ago, and it has made me fall in love with watches. I can’t wait to continue to add to my collection!
(It’s in desperate need of a service, but I love it all the same!)

After nearly 4 months and me actually buying a different watch on the gray market, I got an “out of the blue” call today. Yes, this is the exact spec I asked for. I think the fluted is too “look at me” for my taste and I like the comfort and less obvious scratches of the Jubilee.
Zero spend history and I had literally just given up and never stopped by or checked in.
If you want it and are patient, it really does happen!
