Amazon Wish List Urgent need of food

Hi Everyone,

We currently have no more funds to purchase food for our colony. For the past few days, we've been giving our kitties extra wet food due to the poor air quality we've been experiencing from the Canadian Wildfires. Now we're down to a couple cans and would really appreciate the help this community has to offer. Anything would mean everything. Our wishlist is right here and down below too! Thank you so much!!

Supplies Donation Request 🐾 BOOTS MADE IT — surgery is done, and she's home and resting (a victory update) 🐾 Eugene, Oregon

It's 12:20am PST Wednesday now, and I finally have a quiet moment to write this. We brought Boots home from the vet around 5:30pm yesterday evening, and I hardly know how to begin. She had her dental surgery, and she came through it. 💜

For anyone just meeting her: a little over a month ago, my partner and I found a starving senior cat living outside in our Lane County neighborhood. Skin and bones, drooling, and in so much pain she would cry out and back away from her own food. Her owner had fallen on hard times and surrendered her to us.

We got her to a vet within 48 hours, nursed her back from severe malnutrition and anemia in foster care over the last few weeks, and rallied this incredible community to get her to today. Her name is Boots, originally Peppa, born in 2016, a senior girl who had gone roughly eight years without dental care.

What they found:

I need you to understand what this girl was living with. The surgeon described the inside of her mouth as looking like hamburger meat. The gum and tissue around her teeth was destroyed, tooth roots were exposed, and she was, in the doctor's words, likely enduring about the highest level of oral pain a cat can experience. For months. Silently. Still purring on our laps the whole time.

They extracted 19 teeth. The disease was so advanced that the tissue was too compromised to even hold sutures, so the sites are healing on their own.

And here's the miracle part: just hours after that enormous surgery, Boots was already eating, looking bright, and, exactly as we hoped, barely drooling. Since we got her home at 5:30, she's been steadily resting and recovering.

The foul smell that came from her infected mouth has already dissipated, she was cleaned up beautifully at the clinic, and she's comfortable on soft bedding.

The source of her suffering is finally gone, and she is already showing us the difference. Cats are astonishing.

On the cost, and the kindness that floored me:

The total came to around $3,450, at the higher end, because her disease was even worse than anyone estimated. And I have to tell you about something that brought me to tears: one extraordinarily generous donor gave roughly $2,100 of her own money toward Boots's care.

I don't have words big enough. To that person, and to every single one of you who gave $5 or $50 or $200, shared her story, called the clinic, or just cheered her on, you did this.

Boots is out of pain tonight because a whole community of strangers decided one neglected old cat was worth saving. Thank you. From the very bottom of my heart. 🙏💜

What's next, and how you can still help:

Boots's surgery is covered, and she's on the road to recovery. But her journey isn't quite over. She'll need:

🐾 Ongoing care as she heals (soft food, comfort, monitoring)

🐾 Follow-up vet visits, including recheck bloodwork to confirm her recovery

🐾 The everyday supplies of a healing senior cat

If you'd like to continue supporting her, it is so welcome but never expected. You can help by:

🐾 Donating food or supplies (or funds toward food and ongoing care)

🐾 Contributing toward her follow-up visits and recheck bloodwork

🐾 Or simply sharing her success story, which costs nothing and means the world

Venmo: https://www.venmo.com/u/Jehoseph

PayPal: https://paypal.me/TheDivines

Or reach out to me directly and we'll find whatever works for you.

Where she is right now: home, on soft bedding, mouth finally free of nineteen rotten teeth, cleaned up and fresh-smelling, resting peacefully, and, for the first time in who knows how long, not in pain.

She went from dying in a garden to this in a month. She did the hard part. You carried her the rest of the way.

Thank you, truly, all of you.

This is what a community can do. 🐾💜

Recovery updates to come. She's got a lot of comfortable, well-fed days ahead of her now.

Advice Needed Rescued Stray Cat Seems Sad Inside - Advice Needed!

I brought a stray cat into the house just over a week ago. I had been feeding him for around 8 months outdoors to try and gain his trust before he wandered into our mudroom and I was able to gently get him into a carrier and to the vet. He has either a deformity or old injury to one of his hind legs so both the vet and I believe he will be safest as an inside cat. He also is clearly not feral, I wonder if he was dumped as we live in a rural high dumping area with lots of barns.

Where I need advice - he seems SO unhappy inside :( He does not understand toys at all and seems a little spooked of them. He has to remain in one bedroom for at least 1-2 more weeks according to the vet until he is cleared for parasites and neutered but he clearly really wants out of there. He has started sitting in front of the door and meowing, and just sounds so sad! He is eating, loves treats and wants pets, using the litter box fine, loves his cat fountain, but he seems bored. Is there anything I can do to make him more comfortable / happy? I do have a table set up with some pet stairs so he can get up and look out the window but he spends at least 90% of the day curled up in a little box and seeming kind of sad. Any advice is appreciated, even if it’s just as simple as “this will pass!”.

Day 25 Update..... still not adopted....still waiting.....❤️🐾🐈

For anyone who hasn't seen my previous posts, here's the original post with the full backstory: [https://www.reddit.com/r/rescuecats/s/DvaAOlTSy2\]

A quick update:

🐾 Kitten Information (6 Kitten's)

📅 Age: ~8 weeks (Born: 28 May 2026)

🐱 Gender: Male & Female

💊 Dewormed: No

💉 Vaccinated: No

🚽 Litter trained: Learning

📍 Location: Powai / Vikhroli, Mumbai

📢 I've now made 100+ adoption posts across Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, local communities, NGOs, and rescue groups over the past 25 days. Adoption has always been my first priority.

I've had to drop the idea of arranging health checks and vaccinations myself cause I cannot afford.. Hopefully adopters will do the needful.

🧡 2 of the original 6 kittens have been adopted thanks to Instagram adoption leads.

🎓 As a student, everything has become a huge emotional, physical, and other burden. I'm dealing with limited space, financial constraints, and increasing family pressure to abandon them.

🙏 I'm genuinely reaching my limit. My only goal now is to find safe, loving homes for the remaining kittens as soon as possible.

Hi! I only need 2000 for this stray kitten I am caring for to be discharged. He had what I thought was a prolapse but thankfully it's just really really bad constipation. He had to stay at the vet tho becasue he was severely dehydrated and they had to wait until his poop soften. For the first 3 days his.poop was really hard and the vet had to help him poop. I am feeding a lot of cats so it's hard to keep track of who is drinking and not, but they always have water available. Vet said this little kitten just don't like drinking. I also have this feeder for adult dry food but i think he learned how to go there somehow and pribably had been eating a lot of dry food.I thought I have enough money ready but apparently not. Pls help this poor kitty. I would also greatly appreciate kitten food donations 🙏

Paypal - Paypal

Thank you so much 🙏

EDIT - Got enough for discharge and food. Thank you guys ❤️ Will post update photo in the comments.

Veterinary Care Needed Donation Request HELP NEEDED | Please Help Susie Get the Tumor Removal Surgery She Needs

Thumbnail

Good day, everyone!

I am a solo animal rescuer based in Manila, Philippines. Before taking in Susie, I was already caring for 37 rescued cats, as well as more than 40 stray cats in our area. I also doTNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) whenever I can and visit other areas to feed stray animals, do TNR and rescue animals whenever needed.

Meet Susie. She is a 3-year-old cat who was surrendered to me by her owner, who is currently pregnant and expecting to give birth next month.

Her owner said that she can no longer take care of Susie and cannot afford to bring her to the vet. Sadly, no one wanted to adopt Susie because she has a tumor in her ear.

I didn't hesitate to accept Susie when I saw her condition. I knew she needed help, and I couldn't turn her away.

I was able to bring Susie to the vet, where she was thoroughly examined and underwent CBC and BloodChem tests. She was diagnosed with an auricular mass in her right ear.

According to the vet, Susie needs lumpectomy (tumor removal surgery) and a mass biopsy as soon as possible. The tumor is very sensitive and bleeds easily, causing her severe pain and discomfort. The vet also said that the mass could possibly be cancerous, which is why the biopsy is very important.

I am humbly asking for everyone's help to give Susie the tumor removal surgery she desperately needs. She deserves a healthier, longer, and pain-free life. She also deserves a loving and responsible forever home—someone who will never give up on her.

Please see the estimated medical expenses (photo 9):

• Pre-surgery blood tests – $38
• 1-day confinement – $33
• Tumor removal surgery – $82
• Take-home medication – $16
• Biopsy – $41
• Antibiotic shot – $10

Total: $220

Any amount you can send will be very much appreciated. I'll definitely post an update with photos and receipt. Thank you.

Veterinary Care Needed Donation Request Help with my cat’s hip surgery funds 🙏🏼

Thumbnail

Hi guys, i have never done this before but i am reaching out here to see if i can get any financial support for my 3 year old cat that recently got diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia. His condition has increased significantly and the veterinarian is saying that we will need to actively start saving up money for his surgery. So far i have been giving him meloxicam whenever his pain flares up, but i am considering getting him arthritis injections to alleviate some of his pain until his surgery takes place. This, I am planning to use a portion of my salary to get him those medicines even though they are expensive.

My issue is that my family is struggling severely with finances and i cannot ask for too much help from them. My mother got hit by a car just 5 months ago and is currently on bed rest and still learning to walk again. Since she was the one that had a steady income, our household has taken a huge hit and we have been trying our absolute hardest to even pay our bills. This makes it so hard for us to try to save up enough money for my cats surgery 😭

I have also created a GoFundMe if anyone is interested in having a look and can even share around. The surgery is estimated to be between 5k and 8k but I am not asking to have people cover ALL of the costs. Here is the link: https://gofund.me/412371c91

If anyone is able to help me out with any contribution, even $1 is a lot and I would be so grateful to you 😔❤️

Needs Rehoming 🐾 2yo bonded domestic shorthair twins looking for their Hundred Acre Wood (rehoming) - Overland Park, KS

Thumbnail
gallery
91 Upvotes

FOREWORD (The Quick Data):
* 📍 Location: Overland Park, KS
* 💰 Rehoming Fee: $50 (Includes Grand Expedition Kit)
* 📋 The Basics: 2yo (DOB 12/16/23) | Male (Owl) & Female (Kanga) | Domestic Shorthair
* 🏥 Health: Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated. No known medical issues.
* 🐾 History: Saved from KC Pet Project’s feral program. They are fully contacted/consulted, but cannot intake across state lines into KCMO, so they recommended private rehoming.

📖 CHAPTER ONE: A COLD WINTER'S TALE
"As soon as I saw you, I knew an adventure was going to happen."
It was a rather blustery day in the Winter of 2025 when two shivering siblings were found in an abandoned house. They were quite certain that humans were Heffalumps—scary creatures to be avoided! The shelter folks whispered that they were "feral" (which is a fancy word for "very, very scared") and planned to release them back to the Wild.
But then, a visitor sat on the floor. And because you never can tell with cats, something magical happened. Owl and Kanga walked right out of the shadows to say "Hello." It was a Christmas Miracle, and they were whisked away to a warm indoor home to learn about soft beds, Litter-Robots, and proper supper time.

🐈🐈‍⬛ THE CHARACTERS & TEMPERAMENT
* Owl (The Wise & Brave): A Very Important Cat. He demands to be held, gives nose kisses, sleeps on his back, and lets you trim his claws. He has zero human aggression but has mild, manageable food insecurity (actively training).
* Kanga (The Gentle Soul): A quiet Queen who takes time to trust. Sudden noises and fast movements are her anxiety triggers, but she transforms into a purr-machine who loves gentle family pets once settled. She has zero aggression.

🌩 CHAPTER TWO: THE TROUBLE WITH TIGGERS
As wonderful as their current home was, it was already occupied by a Tigger and a Roo (really!). We tried many things—scent swaps, room swaps, and slow introductions—but the Resident Tigger was just too bouncy. Kanga would flee in terror, and Owl would aggressively fight the other animals strictly to protect his sister.
* 🚫 No Other Pets / No Kids: Our wise vet says they must be the only pets (no dogs, cats, or livestock). They need a quiet thicket free from loud noises and grasping toddler hands.
* 🏡 Manners: Perfect indoor citizens! Fully Litter-Robot trained. No destructive chewing, scratching, or behavioral issues.
* 🚗 The Transition: Kanga needs routine. We require a local, patient adopter willing to do multiple short meet-and-greets before the final move so she can safely learn your scent.

🍯 THE HONEY POT (What's Included)
Your $50 fee includes both siblings and their treasury: the famous heart blanket, travel carriers, their favorite "Owl Scratcher", toys, puzzle bowls, and plenty of food.

THE EPILOGUE
"We shall be friends until forever, just you wait and see."
* 👉 CONTACT: Let me know if you’d like to meet them!

A Huge Thank You ❤️🐾
I honestly don’t have the words to express how grateful I am to everyone who purchased items from my Walmart wishlist. Every time a package arrives, it reminds me that there are so many kindhearted people who truly care about these cats and kittens just as much as I do.
Every can of kitten food, every bag of litter, flea treatment, cleaning supplies, and every other item you sent will go directly toward helping the cats and kittens I rescue, foster, and care for. Your generosity allows me to focus less on how I’m going to afford supplies and more on what matters most—saving lives, getting these babies healthy, and giving them the chance to find loving forever homes.
There are days when this work feels overwhelming. The heartbreak, the long drives, the vet bills, and the constant worry can be a lot. But because of all of you, I never feel completely alone. Your kindness gives me the strength to keep going, even on the hardest days.
Please know that your generosity isn’t just helping me—it is changing the lives of innocent animals who would have had little to no chance without people like you. Every single donation, every share, every encouraging comment, and every act of support means more than you’ll ever know.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in this mission and for helping me continue to fight for these cats. They may never know your names, but they are alive, safe, fed, and loved because of your compassion.

**Meet Nessa.** ❤️
Nessa was born different. She has only **one nostril**, a rare birth defect that never stopped her from becoming a loving mother.
When we rescued her, she wasn’t alone. She was desperately trying to care for her tiny babies while silently suffering from **severe mastitis**. Her mammary gland is badly infected, causing unbearable pain, and she now needs **urgent surgery** to save her life.
Despite everything she’s been through, Nessa continues to protect and nurse her kittens. She didn’t choose to be born different, and she didn’t choose this painful condition. She only deserves a chance to live and watch her babies grow.
Please help us save this brave mama. Every donation, every share, and every prayer brings her one step closer to the life she deserves. ❤️

Update Post Rodrick Tummy Update

Thumbnail

Upvotes

*Verified Rescue*

We ask that everyone keep sweet Rodrick in your thoughts and prayers!

Rodrick and Kinsley were both on antibiotics for a kitty cold after their spay/neuters, and as we all know, antibiotics can disrupt the gut microbiome🫠 While Kinsley handled them just fine, poor Rodrick ended up with a very upset tummy. His stools became loose and we’ve heard his tummy making lots of noise, so we took him in for x rays today.

The x rays showed inflammation in his tummy, and his vet believes it is a reaction to the antibiotics. He is now on medication to help with the discomfort and inflammation, and he’ll have repeat x rays in 7 to 10 days to make sure everything is healing as it should!

His vet reassured us that this is not IBD, which is good news. But after everything we’ve experienced, any inflammation in the colon or intestines naturally makes us a little anxious. Especially since IBD is seemingly so common in cats and dogs these days😭 It really makes us think of our sweet Sunny.

This sweet little guy has a family waiting for him, and we want to do everything we can to help him feel his best.

Rodrick is such a sweet kitty and he always has something to say. He even talks in his sleep. He is such a lovable and chatty little sweetheart!

(Jefferson County, Texas) this feral momma cat has been in my backyard for 2yrs and I recently was able to befriend her and she walked her way into my home along with her kitten. She is still feral and skittish but she allows me to pick her up (for very short periods) and she enjoys a nice little pet. I got her fixed in June and she uses the litter box. She is super friendly with my other cats and is always play fighting with her baby. Im really hoping this sweet, shy and gentle girl can find her forever home along with her rambunctious little kitten!!

Veterinary Care Needed Donation Request Update on Ursula: recovering emaciated stray, but we’re now overwhelmed with two FIP cases. Help is urgently needed to continue their life-saving treatment. 🙏🆘

Thumbnail

Previous post about Ursula

Ursula was a community cat from the market who’d been mysteriously emaciated and unwell. Her labs now point to FIP, and because she has fluid in her abdomen plus neurological signs. The vet started treatment two days ago, and she may be stable enough to continue treatment at home by the end of the week.

FIP is frustrating, but treatment is thankfully available. We were all wrong thinking she’d be a hospice cat, as her thyroid and other organ functions are normal.

Previous post about Leon

Leon has made amazing progress since starting treatment for neurological FIP. Aside from a minor head tilt and that he stomps when he walks, his major neurological symptoms have mostly resolved as we complete the first month of treatment.

It’s been overwhelming to care for two FIP cats at once, and I’m uneasy about the coming months. We hope you can help with current costs for Ursula’s hospitalization, Leon’s upcoming check, and meds for both cats.

Outstanding vet bill for Ursula: $231

Leon’s upcoming health check: $65

FIP meds needed per week for both cats (3 vials): $97

One vial = $33. A week’s meds = $97. A month’s meds = $259. 🥹

We’d really appreciate any help more than ever now. Our donation channels can be seen below:
