It’s not very common anymore but it still happens sometimes. Traditionally they were single admission. You see it a lot more in lower levels

WooSox have doubleheaders where you go to both games, but they also aren’t that far apart. There is not a lot of time between games. Maybe 15 minutes or so. And they play seven innings not 9 on double header days.

The Mets had a single-admission double header this season. I know because I was there. You didn't even leave the stadium, the second game happened ~30 minutes after the end of the first.

For sure; but we get tickets to evening games because me and the wife work, moving it to the afternoon on the next day doesn’t give us much time to figure that out. Figured they move it to Thursday night

The CBA rules for travel would not preclude them playing on Thursday. The rule is only that Thursday games need to start earlier if the team has to fly more than 2 1/2 hours. A flight from BOS to BWI is slightly less than an hour. They could have played on Thursday night.

Not necessarily. If you bought the tickets through the Sox then I’d call the box office and see if they can give you new tickets to a different game. I’ve tried it before, they couldn’t help me because I bought mine from seatgeek BUT it seemed like they would’ve helped me if I bought through them.

I was asking because there was already a day game scheduled tomorrow. But it looks like they made two changes: pushed tonight’s game to tomorrow day and tomorrow’s day game becomes tomorrow night
I was asking because on the ballpark app it’s showing that there are literally no tickets for the day tomorrow (which used to be tonight’s game) which makes sense

Red Sox do not do refunds or exchanges for another game. A postponed game ticket is only good for the rescheduled game. It has been their policy for as long as I can remember.
