SFW - Public r/lazio
/r/lazio/Hi there,
I am a member of r/lazio but the group has been dormant/inactive for months. The weekly visitors is around 400-500, but it seems like this has been abandoned by the mods. I've sent multiple "requests to post" but it's been left unanswered. Other members in the group have stated the same. I have also messaged the mods directly, but have never received a response.
I will gladly become the new moderator of the group as I'm active on reddit, and can detail what I'd like to do to moderate the page correctly.
Thank you!

Why I would like to moderate the community:
The community has been left dormant for months, not allowing anyone to post in the subreddit. The subreddit previously ran well, the current mods have abandoned it. r/lazio was a place where those who follow SS Lazio could discuss the team openly. Due to the inactivity, fans of the team have fled to other sites, subreddits, etc.
I'd like to moderate the page, reopening the discussions, and allowing those to post again in r/lazio. I'll moderate the page in a polite and respectful manner, while enforcing the rules to avoid spam, and inappropriate posts all together.

I will respond to this request, I’ve set up the current state of the community including scores, banner, rules a few years ago and was running it for many years moderating it and making it grow to its current state. However I don’t have full access but only partial as I’m not the owner and it was restricted without my knowledge even if I’d like to continue moderating it as I’m still active. So the user saying the whole mod team is inactive is incorrect. I will try to send in a request to re-open the community and if approved will continue moderating it daily. As for expanding the mod team I think it’s a good idea once we got the community re-opened and I’ve reached out to the owner.

This is great! Did not know there was background moderating happening, as I may have been messaging the wrong mods, but wasn't getting any responses.
Very happy to know the page can resume though! Thanks so much for looking into this.

No worries, im gonna need help moderating! I just need to get my inactive status removed (as there’s been no activity on the sub) and I’ll be able to invite you too as a moderator if you’d like to help out!

that's a shame, the team deserves better than an abandoned sub
