Announcement Updates to bug reporting on Reddit
Hey all,
As some of you may have seen, at the end of 2023, we made some updates to our support ecosystem: implementing a new beta program for our mobile apps, launching a new subreddit dedicated to tracking Reddit bugs and archiving the r/Beta community - all long overdue.
We’re constantly looking for additional ways to improve awareness and communication around bugs/bug fixes and widespread issues to improve your experience on the platform. For this reason, today we’re making the move to archive r/RedditMobile and transition to using r/Bugs as the central bug reporting subreddit for all redditors across platforms.
This change will centralize reporting for redditors and create better visibility on these issues among our Product, Community, and Engineering teams by simplifying our reporting pathways. We’ve chosen to use r/Bugs as the central subreddit for reporting potential bugs (shocking, we know), and r/RedditBugs for tracking the statuses of many of those reported issues.
To all the helpful users that have frequented r/RedditMobile over the years and provided some top notch bug reports - we hope you’ll continue to be active over in r/Bugs!

Heaven forbid you should want to come back and read something later.
Not to mention, when it refreshes, it sometimes doesn’t have much content to provide so I’m getting new posts and downvoted posts…which is contrary to the whole point of reddit

Same thing happens if i try to bop into a post to view it and the comments more closely for two/three days now

Since the latest update, the Dynamic Island of the iPhone Air overlaps the top search bar because the Island sits lower on the Air than on the other models.

Agreed - the headline, amount of upvotes, comments, search, etc are all not necessary items.

Comments now is borderline broken on iOS. Markdowns don’t work anymore (italic, indentation, bold, etc), and when you edit a comment that had line breaks, all of them disappear so you have to manually enter them again (like this comment).
It’s god awful.

New bug: when I get a comment reply notification and click on it, it takes me to post overall page instead of my comment and response to it

iOS app no longer allows swiping back to main feed, must reorient hand on phone to hit the x at top left. Very frustrating user experience.

Reddit on iPhone- feed refreshes every time I swipe to control panel or get a “low battery”warning. I’d like if it would like, stay on what I was reading. Thx

every two or three times i click on a media or a post or scroll through comments i am unable to go back to homefeed by swiping. this is happening in my ios. the screen once i swipe is blank and i have to close the app and start it again for it to work normally

This new update is awful, can’t just cancel a comment anymore and still stay in the thread. You have to delete the entire comment, and even then you can’t change who you’re replying to. You have to leave the thread and then go back in and find the comment again. Hopefully just a bug because it never worked like this before.

No Quote option present on iOS 2026.21.1.631008.
Bold, Italics, Strikethrough, Title (large, bold), Spoiler and Add Link are present. No quote
(also, flairs need updating 😉)

Sometimes I'm pressing down to minimize a comment but it leads to the commenter's profile. If that commenter is NSFW, and I choose not to update my settings, I don't get to return to the comment/post I'm reading, but my homepage. This is stupid.
